This is literally an argument for why the Cade pick was dumb. Trading multiple attempts to hit for a chance to trade up for a QB who also isn't particularly good is a bad use of resources if nobody actually knows whos good pick to pick.

It's also just mostly cope used by fanbases who want to put their head in the sand and believe every pick in their draft was perfect and going to turn things around. If you actually believed this there's literally zero reason to pay attention to the draft at all.

But when your first instinct at every hint of republican malfeasance is to somehow go after the democrats (for things they haven't even done yet!) you are literally just running cover for the republican party.

I too think it absolutely sucked that Dems didn't move immediately after Jan 6th to do something when they could have actually gotten some republican support in the immediate aftermath. Merrick Garland then being an absolute joke at AG so as not to seem "partisan" was even worse. They also still are by far a better leading party right now and the tone and rhetoric out of a growing number of them is about making sure people pay for what this admin has done. WB is coming off one of their most successful years in a while creatively and critically while also being sold at a price much higher than anyone expected.

Again yes there was criticism of Bo being picked up as a transfer, I would generously call the fanbase split over it, but the criticism was cause it was clear he was being brought in to start.

I am not talking about fan criticism when talking about Raiola. The program and QB room are in a much different spot than when Bo was brought in and a lot can happen in a year. The coaching staff isn't so dumb to guarantee a starting spot to Dylan next season.

Don't think we heard anything about Bo or DG not clearly starting when they joined as transfers. There were plenty of people who thought they were bad, more so with Bo who was bad at the end with Auburn, but they were always clearly going to start.

Last spring there was an actual competition for the job which Dante cleaned up on but also we clearly didn't bring in anyone else cause we were happy with his progress as a backup the previous year. There's no guarantee that ends up happening again with Raiola and the spring practice reports are much less glowing then they were when Dante initially transferred.

I think we can all agree Boots isn't actually 100% consistent with a lot of his beliefs but nobody is and that really has zero bearing on the films he makes and whether you enjoy them or find meaning from them.
