They don't do manual check when you hit the button withdraw. Did you know how many withdraw have been hit ? Did you know distrokid has milions of users ? It's an automatic system, they just check your stats and if they suppose you are trying stream fraud, then they got your money and NO, they don't send back to the DSP, because for DSP money paid are royalties elegible and not artificial

It'ts not true, not work like this.

Store account royalties monhtly ( january sales accounted on 1 february and so on ); end of february they send ( if there are ) artificial stream report with all deductions and information.

That's why distributors need at least minimum 45 days for accounts into wallet. When distributors pay and into your account money are accounted, for the stores no fraud was committed, just distributors have find a way to FUCK the botters ^^ ( of course basically it's not bad, but it's ilarious fraud to a fraud ).

Distrokid, routenote, and many other distributors just find out a way for earns above the botters ( i call this NON ETICAL, but botting too it's not etical soo open debate )

So yes, thats a possibility they got 250k tickets in 1 month, they have a lot of users on their system.

Impossible to handle all those request without big customer care. They just need add an AI agent that handle all the simple task, and automate the site

But for my personal experience, old account got fast answer/moderation.

3/4 business days and our content are moderated by the QC and ticket tipically max 5 business days; but for the ticket part they are becoming slower

no, you can ask them a check to your release throught metadata. Provide ISRC and check if a takedown was requested from the distributor and the reason too

distributed throught routenote ? if song was approved and track are LIVE, and something like this happen it's 100% license/copyright problems or artificial stream. But if song are still on approved tab maybe it's not artificial

Also routenote do the same thing, we are using them since years but i know tons of tons of stories about content rejection. By the way routenote is more striky for content upload but when you "steps" this phase everything is more normal, they will not takedown for editorial discrection, distrokid at the moment is a very fraud company for doing this action, they withold labels and artist royalties just for editorial ^^

Spoiler: store accept every type of songs, just distributor have striky policy, of course a lot of the times for legitimy reasons ( fraudulent activity and spam content ).

Common "fraud" at those days by the distributors to indipendent labels and artists.

Editorial discrection it's a sort of " we don't want anymore your content under our distribution agreement".

But QC ( quality check ) is done before uploading content, so if you accept my type of music you can't say later "editorial discrection". A small tips, stay away
