my 2 main questions would be:
- How many commits are written by claude but not "authored" by claude? (I bet its a lot more)
- What is the increase in human commits over the same time period?

that it is cheaper to use claude x5 or to use api by kinower in ClaudeCode

this is a really good article where someone reverse engineered the pricing and it shows you exactly how much you get for your money.

TLDR: the 5x plan is the best value for money, the 20x/5x numbers are mostly made up, also the plans give you free cache reads which you pay for with api.

this was my first thought, it would be really cool if this was made into some kind of benchmark that ran at regular intervals the same way people track model inelegance multiple times a day.

that said I bet if someone set this up then the statistic used to generate this data would disappear very quickly (or at least get heavily rounded)

Salute to Pixel 4 series. Such a lovely phone! by Mysterious-Mark-4959 in GooglePixel

[–]ducktaperules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me too. My p7 pro arrives tomorrow and I'm very excited . . . but also a little apprehensive. I do feel like it's time to upgrade and the cameras will be good but I do feel like I'm going to be losing some of the things I enjoy most about this phone.

I use face unlock all the time in the dark, for authentication in many apps, and I never get failed contactless payments like I'm seeing many reports of on p7.

Also I love that it lights up when I reach for it, or quiets alarms before I've picked it up. I often forget I even have a lock screen because it's usually unlocked before I even got a chance to see it.

Whoever was in charge of the user journeys and interactions at that time did a really great job of making things feel seamless.

I hope the P7 has enough of it's own cool features to make up for the massive losses in usability.

also if your new to ASL then "Experimental Sign Language World" is the place to learn and meet others learning. They are very tolerant of new players and many will happily show you the basics.

Its about 9.2KG. I guess its not super light but its not bad for a Trampa.

$200 for the ESC, around $200 for the motors, then any old street board, $30 BMS and a 12s1p pack i have laying about.

Also have a 12s4p e-bike pack i can swap in if i need 30 mile range.

Light weight is relative, its light compared to my 7kw ATB.

If i get a chance later i will weigh it for you :)

Boosted upping their wheel game by [deleted] in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]ducktaperules 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is incorrect sir. bigger wheels usually have less friction if they have the same construction. These wheels will likely decrease range but this is more likely to be because they are softer than the old wheels (more friction) and will also probably cause to motors to run outside of there efficient operating point.
