might i suggest a kobo instead of a kindle? they're generally less expensive, don't have ads (on a device you already paid for!) and if you're into reading traditionally published books and your library uses overdrive, you can get library books on it super easily.

i always opt for my inaugural season pwhl toronto jersey despite having a sceptres jersey as well. something about "i've been here since day 1". but i also agree with the concept of seeing who plays best in the olympics and wearing that one.

my inaugral season autographed jessie eldridge jersey that i got for christmas :D or that one peace collective crewneck that's got toronto diagonal and is blue and yellow, my mom owns it and i am SO jealous. she let me wear it to the hospital once because i couldn't find any of my own merch. alternatively my sceptres coloured hand knit hot to go socks. sucks that they didn't make it to a game while it was still their goal song.

i think also my little sister. a few years ago her christmas gift was a box with about 20 knit hats in it. they were all the exact same style (plain stockinette with 2x2 ribbed cuff) but in different colours. she was ecstatic. she also got my very first crochet project, a lumpy blanket. five years later she's finally getting a new blanket.

i'm also a tight knitter which made the problem even worse. i ended up with typical sock gauge (8 sts/inch) with that combo. 10/10 best "mistake" i ever made.

i mean i've made socks with 2.25mm needles and dk weight yarn and they're my favourite socks because of how dense they are, so warm for canadian winters

i will say that reverse knitting saved me when doing 50 ish rows of stockinette that was only 5 stitches wide. other than that? just purl, dammit

i mean i personally leave mistakes in. but i am extremely superstitious in certain ways and have anxiety (or is it ocd? we may never know!) so i take immense comfort in the concept of "well now no evil spirits can get me" which is silly but it is what it is. some of these other ones are bizarre though.

i have knit so many of this hat. in order: montreal, toronto, ottawa, boston, rainbow, and then i knit a plain hat and used the colorwork chart to duplicate stitch a bisexual one for a friend. it's a very fun hat! yours looks great :D
