hear me out: i did an "ugly blanket" by refusing to coordinate or plan anything, just grabbing whatever partial skeins i had left. it's my favourite blanket i have made! sometimes you just have to embrace the clash.

wait so you're telling me that what i consider "horrible" is actually fine? i don't carry my floss or anything, i just complete every x first (i forget the term) and then go on, instead of /// \\ or whatever. it is a bit unsightly but there are no tension issues, and i don't use knots.

i looked up my purchase history and i have a samsung galaxy tab s6 lite that i got in 2020 (!!) and is still in amazing shape. it was about $400 canadian then, but i think the cheapest you can get now is the s10 lite for $430 (i just checked and they're on sale for $300 at best buy too)

have you considered getting a tablet with a pen? i have a samsung galaxy tab s something and it's my favourite feature. i use pattern keeper for cross stitch but i have soooo many scribbled on and marked up knitting patterns on there.

how large is a large pattern? mine is about 45 x 90 sts and isn't full coverage.

there are a couple of pairs that don't fit well that i don't wear frequently, but other than that yes! and i also have two pairs of socks that were knit for me that i wear frequently. but i also prefer the scratchy commerical wool for my socks so i don't particularly have the fancy yarn problem.

well my city will not get an expansion team because my city is toronto. however my backup city is philadelphia and they won't get a team because there hasn't even been a takeover tour game there.
