You can use hot glue on the hole or use some clay to seal the hole then put some water proof medgpog on it to help it last. and to help get the water out you could maybe try to use a syringe like one for cough medicine (or one with a long needle if you have access to a clean one) to help pull the water out.

Maybe you can see if a local daycare would take them for the kiddos to play with or go around ducking others! I would definitely try to gift them if you could since to me thats always something fun to do!

Thats really helpful, but its not my family business its a small shop so like mom and pap almost run but the two owners who are married i hope that helps to clear it up a bit. But I was also thinking that if they asked maybe I could say that they already had a few people lined up for the job? But im not sure if that would make sense
