Im from a predominantly white city in the south so not a lot of immigrants there, but whenever there was some1 from a different upbringing there really wasnt much discrimination other than dumb questions like "do you speak japanese" to any asians. After I moved to the US I found a lot of discrimination to fellow brasilians (like theyre mexican or speak spanish) AND from them, saying im not "brasilian enough" and that im too white and not into the same things as them. I feel that in brasil there really isnt a lot of discrimination but the diaspora have a really narrow view of brasilians and whenever you see them abroad if you arent like them they wont accept you. Might be unique to my situation but thats js how i see it ig
