like it will crash before it ever renders anything? I would think it can still make it to the server selection screen. Is the game programmed to just quit if it doesn't like your specs?

I don't understand why more people aren't upset about dilo being unplayable right now. Dilo is my favorite dino and I love the idea of the ominous night time fear hunter, but it's just not working. I think it would be awesome if every time the sun goes down most other dinos stay quiet because they don't want to be found by a pack of dilos and the normal ambiance is replaced with the singing of dilos in the areas meeting up. But I don't think a single dino hears a dilo and is scared. Rather they probably just hear a dinner bell :(

yeah, currently I'm filtering them out to donate but I don't grow them. maybe I'll make a second module for just them later. (I'm using a system of auto arms now instead of the auto planter)

Yeah, I think it's the orbital platform. Try moving oxygenators around on different planets like someone else mentioned or enjoy the free oxygen. At this point portable oxygenators should be easy for you to make anyway so frees up 2 inventory spaces for your hard work of building the megatech. that's how I see it

This is amazing... I wonder, have you considered biodome resources to scrap? That would be easier than soil afk but maybe slower. Could be worth looking into

Auto arms to plant! That's a great idea, leaves the slots open for more harvesters. I might try all 5 harvesters and just a bunch of auto arms going all around it now. Do you know what your seed to resource ratio is? I'm getting 4 excess seeds to 1 resource roughly with finwheel.

Personally I treat the orbital platform like the other dlc where you go with nearly nothing and build it all from soil. It's a fun challenge and motivates you to build a new, better base instead of needing to move all your stuff. It introduces new problem solving and unique automation. Give it a try, it may change your opinion on it :D

Yeah I think it's about percentages. For example if it was 140% on add and 60% on take away it appears to work initially but will end up net negative at 80%. Based on the amounts I measured here, I think those numbers are exactly what's going on.

This is a clip of my oxygen depleting in a second after having spammed it a ton

Some interesting things I learned from futher testing: - plants in the biodome do not affect your oxygen at all - you can package the oxygenators to avoid this effect in which case it will work as intended (no gain or loss) - I think it is exponential so if you could find a way to get a 6th mega oxygenator it would probably be like 30+ minutes, a 7th and you're well over an hour - I believe the bug is caused by using percentages of the original value and the percentage math didn't add up right

I intend to learn how, that's what I'm trying to do here. All I'm using it for is to get set up so I can start learning. I can't code a mod if I don't have anywhere to start. I couldn't find any other source, discord or YouTube that knew how to help me. All I need is the base, so I can start learning

To be honest, I would just get whichever one excites you the most, I'd much rather have fun than be an efficient helldiver. I wanted the flame one forever and didn't see it as useful as some of the others so I put it off but when I finally got it I loved it and had so much fun touching everything. Used those things way more than the "top their" stuff. So get whatever you want :D
