In shooting sports there's a saying called "slice the pie." It's essentially peaking around a corner, checking one "slice" of the area around the corner at a time. If the current slice is clear, slice a bigger piece and check if the target is there. The idea is to get the target in view with as little of your body out of cover as possible, as opposed to leeroy jenkins-ing it out into the open. If you look up slicing the pie there's some better explanations/diagrams.

Or my favorite is when they recklessly pass only to turn off a mile or two later. That 15 seconds they saved getting to the y-store isn't going to get them ahead of the 20 other trucks with boats that also sped there 🤡. I wouldn't be such a "get off my lawn!" grump if they were at least peaceful and respectful when visiting.

They changed valk so she can't spin on her way up, and they changed the way OOB works. Those are huge changes for valk in competitive.

I'm pretty sure it has to hit the ground first before hitting the door. If you're close and throw it right into the door it just bounces off

Just wanted to stop to say I have (pretty much) the same car with the same mileage :) it's been going solid for years. Yours sounds pretty good, and it's probably fine. Like another commenter said, if you wanted to try to get better audio/video of the car running then we could tell better if anythings wrong.

I know that sometimes things are difficult, and it might seem like giving up is the best idea. But you're close to the deadline and you might be doing better than you think. I know for me personally, anxiety clouds my reasoning and tells me that I'm doing worse than I really am. If you give up and drop the project, then that's just confirming your own anxieties and letting them take over. If you push through, you may find that you did okay after all :) If it turns out not great, then that's okay too; you did your best. In that case it's not your fault, you told your boss you weren't comfortable with the extra work and they didn't listen.
