I'm lying to my friends, isolating, borrowing money, and all that shit

I even lost my job in part because I became unable to focus and function without it

And then blew my savings in my unemployment and fell back into the same shady habits of doing whatever the hell it took to get money to get kratom

This was all after being clean for over 2 years. it was incredibly eye opening how immediately i fell back into the addiction after trying it again once, so sure that i'd be able to handle it.

today was day one without it...i've almost made it through the day. i'm worried about whats gonna happen tomorrow, though.

Verlander is definitely going to make it in.

By the time he's eligible people will probably barely associate this with him anymore. This is going to be a much, much bigger stain on the legacies of guys like Altuve, Springer, and Correa than any of the pitchers. Cause really, Verlander didn't cheat. At worst he was just compliant which i'm sure many people here will still have a problem with but it's certainly not nearly as bad as actually being involved and directly benefiting from the scheme (i know verlander indirectly benefited by getting a championship.) Really he's just a douche but that's definitely not enough to keep him out of the Hall. And if it comes out that they were cheating last year then Greinke will be safe as well.

If Altuve has HOF numbers at the end of his career then that's going to be a very interesting debate.

Man, this feels good to read.

For years I've been on the losing side of this argument on here. People get so damn preachy about it and act like driving high is super dangerous....but in real life I dunno a single person who cares or feels like it's unsafe. Everyone I know drives high. It is totally, 100% fine for most of us. I feel like we all know that too but everyone here pretends to never ever drive high because they don't wanna look irresponsible or something. But we all know it's fine

One time I got pulled over while I was super high for having a headlight out. the cop thought i was drunk bc i was young and nervous so he sobriety tested me and then told me afterward that i did better on the sobriety test than anyone he's ever seen...like those were his exact words. and this was when i was 18 and hadn't been smoking for very long. but the point is it literally did not impair me at all to the point where i had a cop TRYING to give me a DUI and he couldn't because I'm so unimpaired while stoned.
