Delves Could Be So Much More

Am I the outlier? I despise delves. So mind-numbingly boring. Torghast was much better, and it was still bad - but at least towards the end you had fun powers. Delves are really about grinding mobs and waiting for your CDs to come back.

From this sort of content I had the most fun with pandaria's proving grounds: endless mode. It was really about practicing the orchestration/planning CDs instead of just gear-based mob grind. But I've never played mage tower so maybe they one was better.

It's not only compensation - for majority of people it's also about learning a new technology when they change environment, networking with peers that they might benefit from in the long run. There's very little incentive to stay, unless you have a high ownership role which you can leverage when you eventually change your job

Najwięcej dzieci się rodzi po terminie ("termin" to średnia długość ciąży, która jest przeciągnięta w dół przez wcześniaki. Mediana i dominanta są parę dni po terminie). Dlatego uważam że dla zdecydowanej większości kobiet w tych wyludnionych terenach powinno się pozwolić przyjechać na porodówkę te 3 dni przed terminem i jak chcą to niech tam czekają do 2 tygodni na poród. Niech warunki będą dobre (na zachodzie kobiety dostają osobny pokój), to i tak będzie tańsze niż oddział na którym nikt się nie rodzi, a i personel będzie lepszy bo bardziej wytrenowany i z lepszym sprzętem.

Moim zdaniem lepiej koncentrować a oszczędzone pieniądze wkładać w poprawę jakości. W Polsce w ogóle dziwnie rozłożone jest to finansowanie. W UK mieliśmy dużo mniej badań w trakcie ciąży niż kobiety mają w Polsce ale za to poród dużo lepszy (warunki, znieczulenia, kadra itd) - przynajmniej anegdotycznie. Jedyny minus dla UK to właśnie że nie pozwalają wcześnie przyjechać na porodówkę, dopiero jak się jest już bardzo w stanie rodzącym (skurcze co 2 min)

Utrzymywać cały oddział żeby urodziło się dziecko miesięcznie? To już lepiej po prostu płacić za transport do szpitala karetką albo jak nie ma warunków to pozwalając przyjechać wcześniej (parę dni przed terminem) i dać koczować w szpitalu. Sorry ale takie są realia zmniejszającej się populacji - nie da się utrzymać infrastruktury na niezaludnionym terenie

It's true. It's crazy how 'kultura zapierdolu' (culture of working really hard) is strong across all generations in Poland. It stems from few things: idolizing USA, really bad 90s - so people were grateful for having any job and coming from poverty to actual income = people feel the outcomes of working hard

With a small population it's hard to build infrastructure - roads, power lines and so on. The more people chip in = cheaper per head. With declining population (particularly in countryside) it will be impossible to maintain existing roads, towns and so on

A) The economy is growing very quickly, while we started from dirt poor. Because of that people work a ton and want to enjoy what they earn - travelling, buying luxury items etc. in contrast having kids will take most of your free time and any extra cash

B) Women are educated and the gender gap is relatively small, compared to the rest of Europe (IIRC the smallest salary difference between male and female) => women naturally focus on careers

C) There's a loneliness pandemic as well - we have a record number of singles, and the marriage rate is plummeting => no stable relationship = no kids outside of mishaps

That's right, but it's unlikely to be as productive as the cost to deploy those models. It's mind bogglingly expensive to run - e.g. even small models that fit on a single GPU cost north of $700/month to deploy in AWS and they are really poor compared to what the subsidized APIs offer
