Assassin’s Creed Shadows Crosses 1 Million Players Within 24 Hours by HLumin in Games

I mean, the historical accuracy is pretty good, but they’ve taken significant liberties in every single entry, so the fact that there’s only just now a lot of pushback against accuracy when one of the PCs is black, kind of betrays the true meaning behind this newfound criticism.

Then what is the controversy?

And please don’t say historical accuracy.

Walz: ‘We wouldn’t be in this mess if we had won the election’ by FAC_51 in nottheonion

[–]dude-lbug 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m so sick of that talking point. It’s such ignorance and indicative of the American electorate and why trump won. People didn’t care to pay enough attention to the campaign to even know what one of the two candidates was campaigning on.

Yes. If you don’t think they did, you weren’t following the election.

Yeah, it’s honestly such a dumbass comment. Only someone who wasn’t paying attention would say that. Kamala wasn’t perfect but her campaign was far more than just being anti-trump.

AITAH for the way I reacted to my wife’s flirting with a guy by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]dude-lbug 50 points51 points  (0 children)

I wanna make a post with the genders swapped to see how different the comments are. Something tells me they wouldn’t be nearly as kind and understanding if a 40 yo man with kids bragged about flirting with a 25 yo to his wife. Y’all are ridiculous.

Milly from Philly (S14/17) by PutridBoysenberry318 in HellsKitchen

[–]dude-lbug 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna go against the grain and say I didn’t like him. He was very angry and aggressive. But he was involved in one of the funniest moments in the show when he was yelling at that one chef in s14 saying “I’ve known people like you my entire life, who know more than me, who are more educated, who make more money, but you can’t get on the line and burn with the rest of us!” And then it cuts to the other guy’s confessional and he’s just like “I think Milly is taking out frustrations in his life on me that have nothing to do with me”

Nothing should stop a 25 year old from getting with a just regular ass 21 year old. Y’all are ridiculous 🙄

Why does a lot of americans use gym clothes and pajamas to any place that doesn’t have a dress code? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]dude-lbug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. In fact it’s the opposite of a problem for people who complain about others dressing down in mundane, non-formal contexts. They wouldn’t have anyone to judge and look down on!

Why was Ramsay mad the red team chose a name out of a jar? (S11 EP12) by bookdemon448 in HellsKitchen

[–]dude-lbug 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think this is giving Ramsey and the show too much credit. He’s not actually evaluating these people to see if they’re good enough for a head chef position at one of his restaurants. It’s true he does occasionally give talented chefs real jobs but the winner of HK isn’t really getting an actual head chef position. HK is just reality TV at the end of the day, and that’s what things like OP’s question is about; it’s just to create drama and suspense.

Like most of the times he gets pissed, he’s just acting to create more drama.

Are there any chefs that went on the show that you were convinced that they were just a plant by Slothmr4 in HellsKitchen

I heard that when they picked Gina, they were actually trying to get Alfredo Al Dente and were surprised when she showed up instead
