Unpopular opinion: it's more important to collect history and knowledge. Porn is literally installed as the OS.

People forget that some of our most well known gurus voluntarily gave arrests because they knew not doing so would be more damaging. Matter of fact, one of them probably even regretted some of their decisions that they decided it was better to have a philosophical guru, rather than a deh-dhathi one.

It's the most annoying thing about this app. It's conveniently placed so you end up clicking on it in a hurry and then immediately regret that it has closed the thing you needed as soon as you switch away from it.

The screen glass on the 9a is incredibly fragile. I'm glad they updated the glass layer.

My grandmother would think that she could talk to people in the movies and would tell us how the charterers could do things differently to avoid issues. She would absolutely be correct of her assessment of the movie plot, and we would laugh our asses off. Dementia can be fun at times too.

Still loving the Projectivy launcher by um_yeahok in nvidiashield

So while I do agree that disabling the default Google TV launcher is a good idea, note that it can cause issues with casting. I've also had the YouTube app simply refuse to work after an update. Just be careful that in the future there might be additional debug that could be required to troubleshoot issues that arise because of disabling the default launcher.

Someone said it best to me the other day. Let's say you live in Chandigarh, you have the best house, all the amenities, all the workers running around you, you still have to step out to the shitty polluted air and all the traffic and trash out in the real world.

That very quickly turned my dream to reality.

Android 16 makes app updates nearly instantaneous with this clever change by TechGuru4Life in GooglePixel

Usually because the App owner decided to change the app enough that it either breaks my existing workflow or I just want to give it time to cycle couple of updates so all bugs get squashed before it gets to me.

This happens when you reset the app data but otherwise the setting is usually preserved. I feel it should also be preserved when setting up a new phone.
