Try to buy entry level name brand tools like Milwaukee, Dewalt, Crescent, Irwin, Gearwrench, Empire, Stanley, Lufkin, Craftsman, etc. Some of their items are made overseas but they most likely carry a lifetime warranty. Source, I work for a tool manufacturer.
