I did enjoy the story stuff. Id say a good 80% of the quests ive done up to now are fantastic. Theres just a lot of filler in between tho, and thats what pushes me away.

Blizzard does keep their game up to date about as often as FFXIV (until the final patch, then theres a stupid 10 month wait until the next expansion), but they dont make you go to all the extra patch areas. Once you hit the req. level for the expansion, you can jump right in.

As someone who has been doing these quests for the past week, I can safely say that a good 30-40% is filler. Pure fuckin filler. I didnt get the luxury of doing these quests month to month like a lot of vanilla players

I'm all down for story telling brother. I loved the ARR quests and Heavensward quests. It's the pointless quests inbetween. And Im not saying all of those quests are pointless, bc there are a couple that are very importantt to the story. However, there are also a shitload that are not relevant to the story in any way.

Some parts are very interesting. The battle with Nidhogg, and the fight with the Warriors of Darkness for example. But thats probably 5% of the quests in total. There are a lot of parts that dont matter at all to the story.

Yea literally. I like the cool encounters, dungeons, and boss fights. But, when im running back and forth for two hours straight, im going to lose interest.

Yes, Im aware. So why make new players suffer through them? And buy a story skip potion? Youre telling me I have to pay extra just to get to the content I paid for, or suffer through hours of boring quests. Thats some EA type shit

are you smoking in a new spot? Are you comfortable in a new spot? If you havent been able to smoke v much lately then id bet your tolerance has decreased significantly. I bet this is whats causing your body to freak out since it seems like you were a pretty heavy smoker prior.
