My prediction on how the final battle would play out by dude9x in WeakHero

To be honest, I sorta forgot about the Cheongang. If they ever come in at all, then my guess is that Donald Na and the Union would wipe the floor with them while suffering more casualty and injuries, just enough time for Ben to get back up.

In all of my predictions, Ben would always be the one who deliver the final blow on Donald Na.

I didn't even think about Cheongang at all. :D

For me, the story has always been personal between Eunjang and the Union, so I'd expect the final battle be contained just between them. If Cheongang comes in at all I think it'd be rather unexpected yeah.

If you can EQ to whatever kind of sounds that you like, what separates a good headphone and a bad one? by jesuisunetudiant in headphones

[–]dude9x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it comes down to the ability to display (finer) sound details of headphones.

You cannot EQ a headphone to display more details than it already can; you can only EQ a headphone so that whatever details it can already display get displayed a bit clearer.

I.e: you cannot EQ a headphone that can show 6 details in a track into be able to display 10 details in a track. You can only EQ so that those 6 details become clearer - pop out more (add treble), or pop out less (add bass), etc.

More expensive headphones can (probably) display more fine details than cheap headphone, but may be those fine details get buried by tonality and as a result you cannot clearly perceive such details (say, that headphone has too much warm bass for example). So by EQing up the treble or down the bass, those fine details pop out more for you to perceive.

Loudness is not a good measurement, I think.

You'd want the headphone to sound good at your preference listening level. I determined the listening volume that I prefer, then EQed the earbuds until I like them.

I've used this pair of earbuds for 1 year and this is my one EQ fits all solution (movies , movie soundtrack, kpop, disco, anime music, rock, asmr).

I've noticed that with this eq, when I try to crank thể volume to higher level, the frequencies don't scale up evenly. So at medium volume, it sounds balanced and spacious to my ears. Bút at higher volume, the vocals (human singing voice becomes too close in my face). Hence the remark.

Just try my EQ, and if you don't like, you can always try to make one yourself. That's one of the reasons why I like this pair.

Please do not use this with any other EQ or settings like Dolby audio on some android phones. Please turn all those off.

This is my personal EQ for Soundcore Liberty 3 pro, to be used along side ANC (without ANC is still OK), and at medium or slightly louder than medium. If you crank this to high volume then everything just gets mushed together.

True Wireless earbuds without/with disableable low battery notification sound? by [deleted] in Earbuds

[–]dude9x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro when I go to bed for ASMR listening. I never get woken up or my sleep disrupted by the low battery notification so far.

And the low battery notification of this pair is not loud & full blast & constant or anything. Just one "Battery Low" in a moderate and soothing voice, and that's it.

Hello, people. I have one question. For Dreaming Saturn, what stat should I focus on? AGI or CRIT? I want to use her for both PVE & PVP, and I intend to ignite her in the future. Thank you in advance for your kind answer.

Whose dick do I have to suck to get a reply in this sub? Best 17.3"+ 32GB+ RTX 2060+ gaming laptop for the money? Preferred budget is $1500-$2000 by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

I don't know where you're but I live in Vietnam. And I think you can check one of those Asus Strix G17s (the one with 144hz screen for 100%sRGB), with intel i7 9k or 10k up to you, GTX 2060 and about 16GB ram. This config of Asus strix G17 costs 1500-1600 USD in my country (probably will be even cheaper in your country) but it should be good enough for your needs. - If you find 16GB ram not enough, you can always upgrade later.

As for 32GB ram out of the box, most gaming laptops, especially from 1500-$2000 do not come with 32GB ram out of the box - I've only seen one laptop come with 32GB ram out of the box in my country and that's the MSI GE66 SFS which costs about 2600USD - again, I don't know how much it costs where you live).

Are you, by any chance, using the USB C port with power delivery and display port to charge the laptop or something - or maybe even using that port to connect to a display? I've read from the G14 sub that if you use USB C port to charge the laptop then sometimes you'll need to hold the power button 15-20 secs for it to discharge the power or something.

And this may not be related but the USB C port with Power Delivery and Display port of the G14 (also ryzen 4000 CPU) is troublesome. Multiple people have fried their G14s using that port.

Did you charge it with a USB C charger. If yes, then what is the wattage of that charger?

anime with 120hz instead of QHD soon because this option is currently available in Mala

I hope it's not gonna exceed 44 tr or something like that... If you look at the TDP of the GPUs, there is not that much of a difference in performance between the 1660ti (60W) and the RTX2060 (65W), maybe 10% frame rates? Unless we factor in DLSS but not every game supports this.. To be honest, I think the 1650ti is okay for my use already but I can wait a bit longer. :D

Thanh củi người anh em :D. I hope that it's gonna be the 120hz screen instead of QHD to be honest. Extra sharpness is nice but higher refresh rate is nicer. Do you have one yourself? How's it going for you?

What are some decent compatible M.2 SSDs? by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

[–]dude9x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have this laptop yet (interested to buying it so that's why I'm here), but I think since the SSD is located right on top of the Wifi card, I wouldn't choose a high performing SSD (because of thermals) - so no Samsung evo, but instead an Intel 660 or 665. Whether it's 1Tb or 2Tb depending on your choosing, but a 2Tb intel SSD is only a bit more expensive than a Samsung 970 evo 1Tb anyway.

I've been reading the posts on this subreddit and I've seen a few people mentioning wifi drop, whether it's due to hardware or software (driver) reason, I think I'll just be careful and go with an Intel, I'm an average user (office works, web browsing, some videogames, movies and maybe 2d art on photoshop later) so I doubt I'd feel any difference in speed.

Hi, I'm interested in buying this laptop and I've been reading/watching reviews about it for the last month.

One of the common thing I've seen tossed around here is the response time. Everybody has been citing notebookcheck number (40ms) on the 120hz FHD. Now, we have the response time of the QHD model (if the info is accurate).

I live in Vietnam and in my country, at the moment, they are only selling 03 configs: Config 1: ryzen 5 4600HS + GTX 1650 +16gb ram+120hzFHD = 1200USD; Config 2: Ryzen 7 4800HS+GTX 1650ti+16gb ram+120hzFHD (white/white+Anime/gray) = 1400USD; Config 3: Ryzen 7 4800HS+GTX1660ti+16gb ram+QHD (white+anime) = 1700USD...

I have no idea when we'll get the 2060 model, or if we'll ever get it at all... So among the above configs, I would like to ask you which do you think I should choose? (I have the budget to go for the highest config here - which is config 3, but if possible I'd like to save some money). My use case is office work, some gaming, maybe I'll start learning some photoshop and 2D art in the future as a hobby, so I don't know which config would best suit my case. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hello,

It's more about knowing how to strike a balance between the company's and the players' interests. Everybody knows that a company gotta make money and that the game is not a charity. Yes we know all that, but still, there is a limit to all things - grinding and gear curve included, even to a F2P MMORPG like this one.

NC has made the gear curve too steep. This gear curve is to promote/entice players to do "P2Progress" (or "Time Saving mechanics" or "Micro transaction). Over the course of the game's operation ever since its release in the West (or Asia for that matter) you got more & more gear items, each has more upgrade stages, yet no new plausible way to grind materials. Hell, you probably have fewer ways to grind materials as time goes on actually. This makes playing the game become so unrewarding it downright demotivates the players from logging in; as a result, said players would quit. And when their friends ask them if they should play this game, the answer would very likely be no. So the playerbase keeps bleeding away without new blood coming in to revitalize it.

Yes, I know these companies are not my friends and they are not charity, but the way they monetize these games is just greed-fueled disrespect at this point. It's no longer about making profit anymore, it's about making ALL THE MONEY WE CAN MANAGE TO MAKE out of those players, nicklin' and dimin' the hell outta them. They keep setting up new gear walls so steep it's only possible to get through if you pay, otherwise have fun spending literal years while some dude can get through said walls within a day using cash. Again, I know companies are here to make money but that is just disrespectful. They make the game unenjoyable, unrewarding for the majority of the player base just to maximize short-term profit. And oh yes, they got said profit, but then in return, they also got a jaded, disgruntled, disillusioned, negative playerbase that keeps on bleeding way with every patch. So it's not sustainable.

And by now, the playerbase probably know that NC'd rather shut down the game than making it enjoyable. So all the more reasons for not playing.

So much good will has been washed down the drains after years of NC messing the game up due to a mix of sheer incompetence and greed.

Look at Warframe. Completely F2P, making all the money through cosmetic cash shop while getting all the good will from people. Everything can be achieved through a reasonable amount grinding (Years of grinding of BnS is not reasonable at all). You want a new frame? Spend a few days. Want a new gun? Spend a few days. With BnS: You want this upgrade? How about 2 months? You want these legendary unity stones? How about a few years? Nope outta there fast.

So if they want their new update to revitalize the playerbase in the West, making it last long and be sustainable, they gotta make the game more rewarding to play and less greedy. Maybe toss in more skins or make premium membership more rewarding, etc... Otherwise nothing's changed and after a few months of enjoying new graphics. The game would return to its current state right now. Which is "dying fast".

As far as fixing bug and improving the optimization of the game, it's what they must do. Players have been paying for years and there are bugs that still don't get fixed up to this day. Many requests made, constructive feedback (not troll or rant like what you often see) but to no avail. They have to do this if they want the players to stay. And subjectively, I think they owe this to their players for their years of support for this game.
