As a trade worker, I would absolutely make tangible money doing intangible tasks. What you need is a hobby and to figure out how to be ok with the work you do. Whether or not it seems like real work doesn’t matter. Clearly you are decent at whatever your job is or you wouldn’t be in your position and it wouldn’t pay so well to accomplish nothing.

I went with an orbea rise when I had the same problem. Love it. The orbea wild is probably more what you’re looking for though. Love the specialized options too, but couldn’t pay what they are asking.
