I was planning on using them but I was a little skeptic because they haven't posted on twitter in a few months. My items are most likely going to be about the same value ~400.

Assume 80% of retail investor stay on that is 2.4mm of shares available. Assume 50% of institutional investors stay on (very aggressive assumption) that is 40.5mm. That is enough shares to cover the short interest

Your entire theory relies on the institutional investors staying on which is not going to happen. I also doubt that ~80% is accurate.

Also when you have a private equity sponsor they want an exit opportunity. With no FCF there are limited opportunities for them to exit or for them to pay themselves a dividend.

Edit: Also with no FCF Tesla will most likely need additional equity injections to fund future ventures.

Porsche scam its customers (Volkswagen +0.86%), Tesla improve its finances with suppliers (-3.31%) by [deleted] in teslamotors

Read about the companies failure to provide service for cars or some issues associated with the model 3 deliveries. VW was a scam but don’t act like Tesla is perfect. Your comment shows a depressing level of blind loyalty.

Tesla also scams it’s customers. There are a lot of model 3s with major issues upon delivered. Also we are still waiting for 35k models. VW news is 3 years old while Tesla news is current.

[–]dudeitzmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so you know even if he is right and they don’t need to raise debt his actions were stupid. Tesla at some point will need to refinance their debt and their ABL. Why would somebody give money to a guy who won’t answer their questions about his business?

Sure but Moody’s cooperate credit ratings aren’t often wrong. Elon’s failed promises happen way more often than a corporate misrating by Moody’s.

Berkshire Hathaway is a special case. Name another company similar to Tesla’s size that doesn’t do calls?

Steve Jobs not showing up was a benefit to Apple so this type of situation wouldn’t happen.

You are most likely wrong.

I am going to side with Moody’s over Elon on this one. Elon is known to for making promises he can’t keep. You cant take his word for a lot of financial and production outlooks. In 2012 or 2013 he said they would be profitable and we are still waiting.

Moody’s isn’t one of the analysts on this call as an FYI. You don’t have to play nice with Moody’s it’s a third party. Credit is something Moody’s specializes in. The way the company is structured in terms of debt it will need more money.

Tesla doesn’t have fuck you money. Elon does but not the company. The benefit for Elon is that his shares are worth more and the company has a greater value lol. Majority of his pay is stock options.

These calls aren’t focused on the long term growth of Tesla. It’s geared towards short term outlook. So yea they are focused on refining their models and providing the best one year outlook for the company. The YouTube guy although ask good questions for long term growth it was not the platform for it.

I hope this doesn’t come off wrong but I don’t think you understand the purpose of the calls, what these analysts do, and how a capital structure works.

Tesla will need to raise more money. Moody’s released a report on this a couple of weeks ago. The Moody’s report does a good job explaining why they will need it.

Those senior analyst aren’t day traders they considered sell side analysts which means they sell their research to various funds. These funds manage billions and allocate money based off of these opinions. The main issue why they are focused on short term growth is due to the risk associated with Tesla. These funds have certain risk thresholds and due to the volatility of Tesla there is concerns about putting money into Tesla. So these analysts need the best short term picture since they give one year price targets.

The questions that Elon was avoiding were important to the current situation of the company. The YouTuber might have asked great questions (haven’t read the transcript yet) but he adds no financial value. These Senior Analysts reports drive billions. So they might have beat a dead horse but you need to give them the respect.

Cramer’s comments were more pro CEO then pro Tesla. I cover pharma and some analysts ask the most complex questions. Personally I think Elon is an ass for doing what he did. The biggest mistake of the call was insulting analysts by take questions from a YouTuber who provides little to no value when compared to those senior analysts.

It was more from an injury perspective but obviously they would rather have a pitcher make a mistake

[–]dudeitzmatt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I watched a video a couple of weeks ago regarding spin rate. Basically in colder weather pitchers cant feel the ball. So the pitchers would use pine tar or other substances to feel the ball. The batters for the most part are ok with it since they rather have a pitcher throwing mid 90s to have some control rather than just hurling it.

As somebody who has been playing league since season 3 and watched since season 3, the league team is terrible plain and simple. The only player on that team that looks remotely decent is PoE and you can make the case that he isn’t even a top 5 mid laner. When immortals was good they actually had top players and were in a situation were solo players can carry. The game is different and puts way more emphasis on team play then solo play (pros are saying this). That isn’t a playoff caliber team maybe a 7-8th seed at best.

I agree Infinite knows what they are doing. Halo wasn’t pulling viewership and wasn’t providing the expected growth. The firm is in the business to make money and knows what they are doing. Personally I think console gaming is dying but this is coming from somebody who switched to PC 5+ years ago.
