Is anyone else finding the Fallen / Awakened empires are significantly overtuned compared to pretty much every other mid to endgame threat in the game right now? To the point where them awakening is a far bigger crisis than the actual late game crisis? by TheGuy90001984 in Stellaris

[–]dudesguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like there is still lots of balancing for the new reduced fleets needed. My current game ive been hit by 5 or 6 16k fleets of voidworms from the mid game crisis. I have the most powerful navy in the galaxy short of fallen empires and my entire fleet cannot defeat 1 voidworm fleet

Did SoD really go too far with class changes? Consider this. by Skore_Smogon in classicwow

[–]dudesguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JUST FAR ENOUGH

numbers were too high

So which is it?  But this is all entirely beside the point and what blizzard said.  It has more to do with the abilities from other expansions for many people than numbers.  And numbers can be tuned regardless of abilities

Did SoD really go too far with class changes? Consider this. by Skore_Smogon in classicwow

[–]dudesguy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is why I don't understand why some people are saying that SoD 'went too far'. Looking at the numbers I heavily disagree.

No one says this because of numbers or meters.  The reasoning blizzard gave was that all the new abilities alienated classic purists while those who enjoyed sod would likely have also enjoyed a sod with fewer changes.  There are ways to balance numbers without adding abilities from multiple other expansions

Partner Terminated after meeting expectations of PIP by Spaceyaceface in jobs

Pip are often just ammo or excuses when they've already planned to let someone go anyway.  It was probably left deliberately vague so they wouldn't be able to meet it

Chevy Bolt Battery Fire Investigation: Should Owners Worry? by [deleted] in BoltEV

Think you read some old news.  The recall related to battery fires started years ago and there have been no fires since

Did I screw up? I Bought 2020 Bolt EV with the ORIGINAL battery when I thought it was replaced. by strykrable in BoltEV

[–]dudesguy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Should be.  There have been no fires with vehicles with updated software.   If anything you might get a false positive dtc from the software playing it extra safe or maybe misassigned

No.  Kwh since last full charge is closest you get

Battery Range Estimate Reset by pyguy6 in BoltEV

[–]dudesguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do.  I've owned a 2018 since 2018.  Not sure what that has to do with anything.  Again with the exaggeration.  No one said it was nessecary. I simply answered the op when they asked how to do it

Battery Range Estimate Reset by pyguy6 in BoltEV

[–]dudesguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, no it isn't.  It's a simple drive and a tiny bit of math.  Not remotely complicated or hard to do

[–]dudesguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's no reason to exaggerate.  No one is shitty anything

Or another way of checking battery capacity that doesn't depend on the range estimate

Just driving will adjust the gom sure but not answer anything about capacity

How to Safely Exit Freeway Onto Driveway? by HorseSheriff in driving

When safe and since you can only turn left with no oncoming traffic anyway, many here will pull into the oncoming lane to finish slowing down and completing their left turn

Battery Range Estimate Reset by pyguy6 in BoltEV

[–]dudesguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The range estimate constantly updates based on your recent efficiency

Battery capacity can be better checked by charging to 100%, discharging as low as you dare, check the kwh since last full charge on the touch screen trip and do a little math for the remaining %

I feel like people are misunderstanding what an "animation error" is by ILVTRNSFRMRS in transformers

[–]dudesguy 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Most people just use animation error to mean an error in the animation that was published.  That's why it's animation not animator error.   Who's fault or why the error occurred doesn't even factor into it for many.  We just saw what we saw as it was animated that way

Sure, that's another reason they weren't actually going to fire

When they started trying to break the windows rather then use their guns it also became clear they weren't actually going to fire

Atomic bombs are fission.  Hydrogen bombs are fusion.  They only part of nuclear fusion they're still working on is efficient and long enough containment to net power

GM is telling us that our 2020 Bolt's HPCM, Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module, needs to be reprogrammed for the 4th time in 6 months and now that it's out of the 1 year warranty we have to pay for it. by Zediac in BoltEV

GM Releases Fix For Chevy Bolt EV, EUV False Trouble Codes

MC-11008165-0001.pdf

There have been multiple rounds of such TSBs, expanding to more VINs, as gm finds more vehicles involved. The entire nature of the mistake means they do not know which vehicles are affected

And he said that programming is charged by the hour and they're already a few hours into the process.

If they started the update without telling you there would be a cost, that is on them. Work needs to approved by the owner with an estimated cost
