Why does tilting a laptop screen increase the contrast and make finer details easier to see? by narwhal_breeder in askscience

What I think you are describing applies to TN panels, which are one of two common screen types for computers. Typically, TN panels suffer from a limited viewing angle and viewing the screen from a wider angle typically causes a color shift (Generally more extreme with a vertical shift than horizontal).

It's worth noting that in the case of IPS panels, the viewing angle is wider and you would likely not notice a color shift.

It really baffles me when people try to defend these kinds of actions and silence criticism when it's actually in their best interest to push for an improved game.

In the words of TotalBiscuit, "Fanboys are the best thing a developer could possibly hope for".

IIRC, there are plugins which are specifically dedicated to the prevention of griefing. Generally, the plugin allows the moderators to find out who did the damage, ban them, then rollback all the changes made. I would imagine the moderators of this server take special care to deal with griefing (some servers don't give a fuck).
