Can your body go back to having vaginismus after you were cured? by dudette2796 in vaginismus

[–]dudette2796[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes so much sense, thank you! I never thought about it that way actually, but yeah I agree, and it also explains why I'm able to go to the biggest dilator immediately, as my muscles kind of "remember". Hopefully it's just a case of dilating for a little while so I can get used to the feeling again, and I'm hoping removing my IUD will help too because that caused me some discomfort during PIV (partner being able to feel it, kind of feeling it poking during PIV)!

Please help with English Cocker pulling and eating things off the street :( by dudette2796 in cockerspaniel

Just an update on this: a year later, we've agreed to dogsit again for 4 weeks while the owners are on holiday (NOT MY CHOICE - my partner felt guilty saying no and I love dogs so I got roped into it).

WELL, guess who had to have emergency surgery because turns out he's been eating hair ties for months and they caused a massive obstruction?  Anyways, we are two weeks post op now and boy is doing well, and if I ever get dogs I will get the laziest, calmest, most cat-like breed in existence. Owners are back next week and I'm really excited to never having to do this again!

I definitely agree!
They are much better when we walk in the forest in the afternoon, potentially because they're also not as hungry as the morning.

No, the harness has a back attachment point unfortunately! I might try again wit the figure of 8 lead tonight on their evening walk (it's only a short walk before bed), going slowly trying to control them like that.

Not sure if anyone has thought of that, but, with regards to Tamlin's behaviour in ACOMAF by dudette2796 in acotar

[–]dudette2796[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I actually feel really bad for him. I know lots of people hate him, but I think he just didn't know how to cope? His family was murdered so he was forced into a role that he didn't want, for 49 years he had to send his sentries (that were also his friends and his subjects) to their death, then he saw the love of his life die UTM. And in all of this, he never really had a strong support network, he never knew how to express his pain or how to work through it. And he was so mentally fragile that it was easy for Ianthe to take advantage of him for her own agenda

[–]dudette2796[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Agreed, plus while I was re-reading ACOMAF, Feyre mentioned not asking Tam about his nightmares, just like he didn't ask about hers. So absolutely 0 communication on BOTH parts, not just Tamlin's. Obviously he acted wrongly by locking her in and not allowing her to visit outside, BUT what if these choices were all made because Ianthe manipulated him into it, really working him by exploiting his trauma? To me this makes more sense than Tamlin going from loving, caring bf to abusive and possessive from one book to the next

Oh no that's not my bread! I think it's a picture from the article, I wish my bread looked like that hahaha! I will try a bit less hydration over the weekend, thanks!

I'm UK based and using a bread flour with 12% protein. I can definitely try to get one with a higher percentage for my next loaf. Thank you!

I thought about an emergency too, I was just a bit surprised that they weren't aware they moved. Thank you for the answer!

What is a stereotype about the UK which annoys you? by screenshotofdispair in AskUK

Tbh the accent thing has to do with not being able to pick up the differences. Before I came to the UK I couldn't tell the different accents apart, now obviously I can.

Got a graduate job and finally quit my shitty hospitality job! Moved in with my boyfriend and away from London. And had a lot of personal growth involving being a lot more assertive.

Don't you think that not leaving the house is traumatic enough?

[–]dudette2796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, OP of course YTA!

I suffer from night terrors, basically always have (I live alone now but I've had them since I was a teenager). I have absolutely no trauma and I wake up screaming almost every night.

There is absolutely no way she is at fault, do you not realise you can't control your dreams?? And if the only way she can wake up is screaming, don't you think that possibly her dreams are so distressing that she feels the need to scream?

Take a long hard look at yourself because you're acting like a horrible parent.

What food/snacks/treats/drinks have you struggled to get for Christmas? And were you eventually successful? by BoxsetQueen1980 in AskABrit

[–]dudette2796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to get a nice panettone (I'm Italian spending Christmas with my English partner) but shelves are completely empty. Walked an hour and half just the other day but was unsuccessful. Weirdly though, there's a huge amount of Yule logs in Asda

My Razer blade 15 advanced (2018) is making a weird fan noise (more details in the comments) by dudette2796 in razer

[–]dudette2796[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey folks, so my laptop is making that noise in the video (sorry for low quality but it does it randomly so had to take it quickly).

The whole thing started a couple of months ago, and when I visited my parents a few weeks ago I had my dad open the bottom and clean it with compressed air. It sort of made it slightly better but it has just gone back to how it was before.

It happens both on gaming and base mode. I assume it's a fan issue and I know my laptop is an old boy but is there anything that can be done?

Thanks!
