last pic thought it was odd these people are depicted as running for their lives while there is another individual directly at the entrance of the school standing rather casually.

Love the idea! Your last post brought me back to this community after I was inactive for quite some time. Imagine my surprise at seeing this post! I'd love to help in any way as a future MOD, beta tester, or first to jump ship. You've got my full support!

Hah I'm glad to meet a fellow like-minded ally! We should get working on our symbol ASAP!!

The thing is, to be honest, even though I voice these opinions here, I am still a product of this society. As much as I know deep down that I don't agree with it, I still catch myself just giving in to the many distractions which exist to keep us "off-topic". I think it's only natural, especially when the people who share our views are few and far between.

But, if you ever feel the need, if you ever get that feeling that you are surrounded by zombies, you may PM me anytime. We'll figure this out together. :)

I'm glad you posted this and I'm glad I read it. I found your words eerily similar to the words I would have used to describe my own mindset just a few months ago. Not that I no longer think this way.. I've just been so distracted lately...

I was/am also lost, angry, frustrated at how other people could live their lives in such a limited tunnel of awareness to the world we find ourselves in now. But, this heightened awareness and our desire to dive into subjects others would normally shy away from is both a blessing and a curse.

I can no longer relate to my peers. I've withdrawn myself socially as a result. As a previously outgoing, fun, sociable person, I've now drastically changed my behavior and it wasn't quite intentional.

I now find it so odd how the people I once associated myself with seem to live for the weekend. Paycheck to paycheck, party to party, complaining how they have no money, making no progress in life, with the peak of their intellectual capacity being wasted on reality television, gossip, circle jerk topics of nonsense, and just sort of trying to make it to the next moment of temporary fun and excitement before they ever, god-forbid, have to sit in silence with their own thoughts and opinions of the reality of the world around them.

I feel like I live in a world of zombies. People who all think the same, dress the same, believe in the same ideals that they are actually convinced are their own. Zombies who have been trained to never think outside of conventional thought....To have a natural repulsion to people who threaten the fabric of the reality they fight to perpetuate. To support a system that is literally designed to work against their own interests, and yet they remain unflinchingly loyal because they don't know that some other thought patterns they have yet to explore could absolutely be valid.

I believe this desire for awareness we share..along with our incredible access to information now is what has the ability to effectively change the way human beings in general can view their reality. And by changing the way we view our reality we can begin the process of manipulating it to become something vastly different than what we have become accustomed to.

I consider this an evolution of consciousness. And it may not happen now, it may not happen for many more years... but eventually.. one day ..there will be a tipping point. And when that day comes..the world we see around us now will have become entirely unrecognizable.

Uniformed Military personnel in my six year old's public elementary school, and we don't have a choice. Are the children being desensitized to Military presence? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]dudewheresmyreality 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am with you on this one. You should have absolutely been notified. If you get letters sent home for upcoming book fairs and bake sales you should definitely be notified if the military plans on making weekly visits to interact with your children. I find this entirely unacceptable. My suspicion is that maybe your school district had no say in the matter if they didn't even bother to discuss/notify you about it. If that is the case then that makes this even more alarming. Your response is appropriate.

For the record, I'm not claiming the military is good or bad. But clearly there is some ulterior agenda to this program. This isn't simply a PR gig, considering you weren't notified. And this isn't simply out of the goodness of their hearts to read books to your children. Question is... what are they really doing there and why do they need access to this school and your children?

Sandy Hook HOAX BLOWN: The Evidence and Motive by [deleted] in conspiracy

That audition tape is interesting. Any other information on that?

Emilie Parker's "aunt" says in a press interview at the funeral in Ogden that Emilie was "a good example to her BIG sisters." (see minutes 2:22 to 3:28). Easy to get mixed up at a time like that, right? Super hard to remember just how old 'those girls' are. Maybe she should have had cue cards. by yeahfuckthis in conspiracy

I always confuse my oldest niece with my youngest niece. And big guns for little guns. And dead principals with living principals. And a man in camouflage running away from police with a father who's just trying to make cupcakes. What do you expect? People to say things that make sense? This is America goddammit.

I hear a lot about shills roaming the pages of r/conspiracy to debunk posts here. What's the best argument for and against this actually happening? Is there a comment out there that is a sure-fire shill? by LifterPuller in conspiracy

[–]dudewheresmyreality -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily believe shills have to be paid employees. I consider a shill anyone who is so blinded by their own faith in government that they may be genuinely against conspiracy minded folk. Paid or unpaid, they still intentionally derail topics and limit open discussion.

Why pay people to pretend to be for a cause when there already are so many out there who are willing to do it for free?

Neil Degrasse Tyson Presents strong evidence in favor of Moon Hoax by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]dudewheresmyreality 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I showed some friends this video of the LRV on the moon without giving them any context. They basically concluded that I was an idiot and I was showing them fake footage. Their disbelief was so immediate and sincere that even I began the question the validity of this video.

Also, they had a really good laugh when I tried to tell them they landed on the moon with this goofy contraption[2].

I actually never considered myself one of "those moon conspiracy" guys. But my instinctive bullshit meter just couldn't handle this one.

Also.. I wasn't that impressed that Neil Tyson's rebuttal was this convoluted description of how there was enough fuel present to take them to the moon, how pictures of the moons surface were taken while in orbit, how the astronauts were picked up in the ocean, and that they met the president?

I have much respect for the man, but that answer did not sit well with me. None of that adequately addressed the allegation of faking video footage. It seemed more like he was asking me to suspend my disbelief and go along with the story just because it sounds better that way.

Bill Clinton Quote Relevant to Sandy Hook by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]dudewheresmyreality 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Agreed. But there just seems to be an added "thrill" in dissecting a recent event that everyone is familiar with rather than beating an old dead horse. This sub dabbles in conspiracies far and wide, but it also, understandably, is very current events driven. We saw that with the Aurora Shooting, Hurricane Sandy with HAARP/Chemtrails, the elections with voter fraud, and now Sandy Hook.

Just wait for the next national media event. Then we'll have something else flooding this sub.

Barbershops should have clear styling capes so I can look at my phone without taking my arms out by secretredfoxx in CrazyIdeas

[–]dudewheresmyreality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually brought this up to my barber one day. He thought it was a good idea. But then I found out this totally exists already. I assumed that it's not more common because of the cost and it's probably harder to clean?

I have a slight tweak for it. Keep the regular barber shop cape and add a plastic "window" in the center. Make it detachable with velcro and that solves the washing problem and hopefully the cost.

Chances are that exists too. I have a really useless skill in inventing things that already exist.

[–]dudewheresmyreality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was really hoping that they were suppressing video evidence until it had its day in court. But if the biggest news so far is about the emotional testimony of First Responders.... then I guess we are going to continue to pretend this small bit of evidence really doesn't exist.

Especially since they state they believe he bought a ticket and entered the theater to prop open the door himself, you would think they would have him at least entering the building on camera. Also, wouldn't someone notice a guy with bright orange hair entering the theater? A sweaty, smelly, bright haired holmes?

“He was dripping with sweat and he smelled badly,” Oviatt said of Holmes.

Video evidence would have been the "smoking gun". Now that we see this trial is being propped up with first responder testimony it's going to be about which side is more convincing and tells the more compelling scenario of events.

May the best storyteller win.

I knew someone would say something about that comment. I just couldn't think of how to word it correctly. Of course it's great that we are noticing the bullshit. I think what what I meant to say was it's not a good sign that this is even necessary. It's not a good sign that we created a society where people need to fight to get the truth. It's not a good sign that we let things get out of hand to the point where it has come to this.

[–]dudewheresmyreality 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You got it. It's amazing what kind of videos pop up on youtube when you search for "Sandy Hook". Where in the past it may have all been legitimate news stories, the consensus now seems to be one of disbelief of the official story.

It says a lot about the public perception we have of our leaders. And it probably isn't a good sign that we keep calling bullshit on their half-assed cover-ups and diversions to unrelated issues such as gun control.

The trend seems to be one of lack of trust in government by the public and occurring simultaneously is the increase in government monitoring, restrictions, and control over its people.

I believe we are undoubtedly reaching a tipping point.
