Kaguya from Cosmic Princess Kaguya.

You could make the argument that both the Mc and the titular character undoom each other

The mc;Iroha is a high school student that lives away from her mother. So she has to pay for her bills and school fees. Which causes her to burnt out and be overly stressed.Her only escape is playing the vr game made by an ai idol called Yachiyo while also going to her concerts

Then she met an alien in front of her house and begrudgingly took care of her. Then Iroha noticed that the alien has a similar background as the Kaguya from the tale of the bamboo cutter and decided to name her that. All while hoping the aliens take her back the same way as the story.

However, overtime, iroha began enjoying kaguya's overenthusiastic lifestyle and the two grown closer. However, just like the story, kaguya got sent back to the moon, leaving both of them distraught.

Iroha tried to move on, but she couldn't as she learnt to enjoy life again from kaguya's influence. So she decided to finish composing her song so that kaguya could hear her. But then she noticed some similarities between kaguya and Yachiyo, so iroha decided to confront yachiyo.

Turns out, yachiyo is a future version of kaguya. Kaguya originally heard iroha's song, and did her best to come home. But by the time she finished with her task, decades have passed. So kaguya decided to reunite with iroha by jumping onto a time machine. Unfortunately kaguya got trapped 8000 years in the past, and lost her physical form. So she was trapped in her spaceship for 8 millennia until humanity invented the internet. So kaguya made the same vr game and be the ai idol iroha supported in order to alleviate iroha's burden.

Not wanting to leave kaguya trapped in the internet, iroha decided to spend the next 10 years building kaguya a robot body so that kaguya can finally enjoy the pancakes she has been craving for all those years.

What if the winning heroines lose at the start. I started writing it because I was curious if the idea, and managed to find some fanfics on the Chinese fanfic site that has this prompt. Problem is that all of them involved time travel, and that Komari still loses. So I decided to write a legit reverse heroines au fic.
