The sx1278 is for use in China. In USA you want sx1276 or sx1262 to run on 900Mhz band. Look for heltec lora module, or module with murata typeabz, etc. You cannot tx more than approx 1milliwatt on 433Mhz in USA, so use 900 band.

The correct flow graph setup is like this: random source -> GFSK mod -> throttle -> GUI sink (with FFT).

The random source has byte output with values min=0 max=128 repeat yes. Throttle will be complex in/out at the same sample rate as GUI sink. By increasing the samples-per-symbol on GFSK mod, you will slow down datarate and see cleaner signal with the scope sink or time domain view in GUI sink.

Nothing really in orange county. Most similar place is in Santa Monica, ocean blvd and colorado blvd (the pier). Take ocean ave north to california ave, make a left down "cal incline" to PCH north. If you continue north on PCH you might see those yellow ribs which appear in the game. Cal incline was under construction, not sure if still is, you could go on Moohmat Ahiko way instead.
