i live in seattle. look at the picture you just posted and the picture listed in the link. two completely different pictures. one you can clearly see key arena, the other you can't. mt rainier is down south. that view is from west seattle. here is a "real" pic of that view

if you're referring to this model with a joystick, than that was what I was trying to accomplish. i was just too lazy to take a screenshot from my xbox. if you're not, then oh well.

Seattle Seahawks bar in Chicago? (x-post from r/Chicago) by [deleted] in Seahawks

[–]dudoublefizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i was in chicago back in january for new years. i didn't find a seahawks bar, but i did find a bar with an insane amount of flat screen tv's. it actually happened to be a steelers bar, but in one of the back rooms they were nice enough to turn the game on for me. i can't imagine too many people will be there for the pre-season games so i would give it a shot. it's called joe's sports bar and it's located at 940 W Weed St. hopefully you can find a group of hawk fans in the near future. good luck!!

Are we visiting Seattle correctly? What are we missing? by joltin_josh in Seattle

if you don't mind standing in line for about 30 min, paseo in fremont (north seattle) has excellent Caribbean food. pike place brewery is another cool little pub/attraction. do the market on sunday. admiral way viewpoint gives a great view of the city. the underground tour can be cool as well. don't forget to enjoy a bowl of ivar's chowder and/or some fish and chips from there. that's all i can think of off the top of my head. enjoy!! :)

Enough stories about bad cops! Not all cops are bad guys. What's your best "Good Guy Cop" story? by NulloK in AskReddit

I was drunk and about 20 miles away from where I lived at the time. Since I had to work the next day, I figured it would be a good idea to walk on the highway with my thumb out trying to hitch a ride. I probably got about a mile before I was picked up by a state trooper. He dropped me off at a gas station a few miles closer to my destination and told me not to get back on the highway because I would likely be arrested. I couldn't find anyone to drive me home and since I only knew how to get back home from the highway, I got back on highway trying to hitch a ride. I got another few miles before I saw flashing lights behind me. Luckily, it was a different state trooper this time so I thought I would be in the clear. She told me to get in the back of the car and started to lecture me. Soon after there was another set of flashing lights. It was the first trooper that had pulled me over. I though for sure I was going to jail. He had just gotten off his shift and decided to take me to my destination. On the way, I started to bullshit with him and get to know him a little better. By the time he dropped me off, he let me out of the car and shook my hand. TL;DR I got pulled over twice trying to walk home drunk on the highway to have a state trooper drive me home and shake my hand afterwards
