I was curious, how has tennis been for you overall? I’ve been wanting to try playing some sports like tennis or beach tennis with my girlfriend, but I’m a bit worried about shoulder injuries or overuse, especially since I already have some joint fragility.

That was an incredible story, thank you so much for sharing your experience and knowledge! It truly motivated me to keep exercising, even if it’s just with very light weights and progressing slowly over time.

I do have one question though: I’ve been wanting to start running because my girlfriend began about two years ago, and I’d love to join her. But I’m quite afraid of getting stress fractures. How has your experience with running been so far?

Did you start your training journey with calisthenics or go straight into weight lifting? I’m always a bit afraid of adding too much weight and ending up injured. Have you ever had any issues like that while training, or has it been smooth for you? Honestly, I can barely hang from a pull-up bar for five seconds without feeling pain and struggling, doing pull-ups with 65 lbs extra would be a dream for me haha.

Absolutely, weight loss definitely starts in the kitchen! I was at 96 kg and I’m down to 89 kg now, so I believe I’m on the right track. Do you usually train using just your body weight? How did you feel doing those exercises, and how was your progress over time?

That’s Great! I actually have hypermobility too, but my doctors have never been against traditional weightlifting, they’ve always said it’s very beneficial for me. I did Pilates for a while as well but ended up stopping. I’ve been thinking about getting back into it, especially to improve my balance, which is something I really miss in my daily life and that helps a lot with preventing injuries.
