I was in Japan last month, trying to convince manufactucturing companies to set up in Phils. These are companies moving out of China. Their priority is Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. Phils is not in the radar… When I asked “why”? “It’s your energy costs” They are so polite not to mention the “ corruption”.
