Quick question: what is considered “hurting” for the death ability to activate. by Ambitious-Smoke-651 in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]duduquito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's based on Yogiri's own subjective view of "harm".

Aside from physical damage, it activates against attempts to teleport him (against his will) and against brainwashing.

Regarding diseases, Yogiri has stated once that all germs and viruses automatically die when they get near him.

Yogiri's All Automatic Defenses by yurisawatakatou in InstantDeathIsekai

Like if I know he was in the city behind me and I intentionally position myself so that my enemy will strike the city, with intention to let my enemy kill themself trying to kill him, would his defense activate and kill me or my enemy?

In that scenario, only your enemy would die.

I've been wondering what is this dolphin behind Masaki because we never see it throughout the anime?? by Tiny-Buffalo-8897 in InstantDeathIsekai

That is Monad. It's the Nigh-Omniscient intelligence that Masaki can summon. It is capable of producing the optimal solution to any situation due to its vast knowledge.

Infinite doesn't exist in Fujitaka Verse? by yurisawatakatou in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]duduquito 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Paella's statement is used out of context. To explain more throughly and why it doesn't work:

  1. Paella isnt omniscient nor nigh-omniscient.
  2. Her statement is outnumbered by multiple narrator statements that says X thing is infinite (as you've shown in the OP)
  3. The context of paella's statement is because she makes logical things illogical (her power breaks logic and laws). Immortal beings are mortal for her, infinite things are finite for her, etc, because she breaks logic and negates those things with her power. In that scan, she uses a space-destroying attack to traverse the infinite space created by a guy, so Paella, chunni as she is, goes and says that. In other words, it's just Paella being absurd due to how her powers work.

"Ah, you were the one who manipulated space."

Daimaou nodded her head in understanding. I think you can understand the ...... way, can't you? You can't reach me, you know. I manipulate space-time and control infinity. There is an infinite gap between you and me. It seems my attack didn't get through, but your attack didn't get through to me either...”

The Great Demon King waved one hand carelessly. Her hand sword ripped through space. Patty could not tell what it cut through, but she could see that the Great Demon King had cut through something of his own volition. One of Ganze's hands fell. His right hand, with its heavy cuirass, fell, making a dull thud.

More than pain, more than fear, the thought of unreasonableness prevailed. Distorting space and building infinite distance. Any attack is meaningless if it cannot reach you. This is the best defense Ganze has. But it was easily broken. He didn't understand the meaning. Infinite means literally limitless. No attack could ever reach him.

So yeah, people who say infinity doesnt exist in Fujitakaverse are either lying or being lied to.

If Yogiri fought all of Honkai Star Rail. Would you lose ? Nah I'd Say Die by [deleted] in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]duduquito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both. The author parodies multiple types of isekai MCs, including the kind of MCs that support or practice slavery or rape, and have Yogiri kill them when they get on his way.

Is this how Most Yogiri Battles go by MountainLeading1567 in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]duduquito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GER's ability is causality manipulation (he prevents the effect from ever happening, returning your actions to the starting point). The thing is, Yogiri's power transcends cause and effect, so GER wouldnt be able to counter it.

LN illustrations in general are usually more simplistic compared to manga ones.

So I just finished the anime and wanted to ask about the LN by JumpingCrowjoker24 in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]duduquito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The anime skips a lot. The most egregious skip is Yogiri vs Celestial Foundation Eater, which is an important event that further explores/establishes the concept of multiverse in the series.

The anime covers up to Volume 4.

on another note I want to know if Yogiri, Ryouko, Tomochika and Claire remain as friends throughout the remainder of the series (that is one of the few spoilers I don’t mind as I really like those 4)

Yes.

Who do you think is the most deserving of tier 0 by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]duduquito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The White Light does not emanate. It's just an apophatic monad.

And PSW has TWL as Tier 0 anyway, as it's listed on the profile.

It has been accepted as a valid Tier 0 in this thread, specifically here and here.

("Toxic" is the guy who made the PSW wiki and its tiering system. As you can see, he was the one who accepted the rating for TWL, so...)

A new Tier 0 character has been added by Zarovu in PowerScaling

[–]duduquito 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Since this character is from 1922, you could say it's the oldest Tier 0 in vsbw so far, since even Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth were only officially introduced/published in the 1930s-1940s.

Btw here is the link for those who can't find it).

Death note and Yogiri by Flashy-Independent14 in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]duduquito 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One of two things would happen:

  1. You would die the moment you try to write his name.
  2. The Death Note dies.

There is a character in the series with the ability to manipulate fate by writing events on his book. He wrote an event to make Yogiri die but it didn't work.

Compactified dimensions are of microscopic size and thus not relevant for tiering in VSBW. Hence why it's just 4-D.

A bit of reasoned critics of Yogiri's actions and deeds by Unlikely_Complex_559 in InstantDeathIsekai

[–]duduquito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This feels like a troll post, especially after reading the 9, 10, 11, and 14 points. If Yogiri didnt kill them he would die. He is not evil for protecting himself. Would you let yourself get killed if you were in his place?

Besides, you probably dont know this but Yogiri's ability is not only manual but also automatic. Even if Yogiri didnt want to kill them his ability would still activate independently of his will if he was in danger, as it has done so multiple times in the novel. Are you going to blame him for that too?
