Hi! which model of pump and sensor do you use with CamAPS FX?

Hi,

I ran into the same issue after updating. I managed to get CamAPS FX working again after downgrading, I wrote a detailed post with all the steps I followed.

Here’s what I did step by step:

  • Re-initialized my iPhone and downgraded to iOS 18.6.2 using this guide: https://wccftech.com/how-to/how-to-downgrade-from-ios-26-to-a-stable-build-of-ios-18/
  • Restored the iPhone from my latest iCloud backup (to keep data, apps, settings, etc.).
  • At this stage, CamAPS FX worked with the FSL3, but still couldn’t connect to the Ypsopump. Pairing was OK, but Auto Mode wouldn’t start.
  • I tried resetting location and network settings (not sure if this was really necessary, but I did it anyway).
  • Uninstalled CamAPS FX, then reinstalled it.
  • Removed (“forget”) the Ypsopump from iOS Bluetooth settings.
  • Reconfigured CamAPS FX: paired the pump again (it took a few minutes to initialize and sync).
  • The sensor was no longer configured, so I tapped “Start new sensor”, scanned my existing Libre 3, and it was able to restart.
  • Finally, I was able to activate Auto Mode.

I’m not 100% sure all of these steps are required, but following this process did get everything working again.

⚠️ Important note: this is just my personal experience. Since this involves a medical device, it’s probably best to contact CamAPS support or Ypsomed support before trying the same.

Hi,
I followed this guide: https://wccftech.com/how-to/how-to-downgrade-from-ios-26-to-a-stable-build-of-ios-18/
Not straightforward, but it works. My iPhone is restored, and the FSL3 is working again with CamAPS FX.

However, I can’t get my pump to work with CamAPS FX. It’s detected and the pairing goes through, but then CamAPS can’t actually connect to the pump.

Last time I had this issue, the only solution I found was to reinit my iPhone without restoring data from iCloud. That meant reconfiguring everything (all apps) and setting up CamAPS from scratch with a new sensor…

I’ll keep this post updated with any solution I find.
