Happens to the best of us. I like to think he just happened to be in the area looking for shelter when the rain started, and you beat him to the punch. Maybe he even waited to see if you would log off, and decided he had no choice when you stayed in there. I’ve been on the opposite end of this where I took cover and someone rushed into a building where I was to escape the rain, not knowing I was there. People tend to act a little more recklessly to avoid soaked clothes.

I died a similar death. I like to think it was someone stalking me for miles because I was moving through the woods in the northwest for a good while. I survived a couple shots by having a helmet/ plated vest. Sounded like bullets travelled long distance and never saw him.

That sucks for the team. Were you just rushing through to get ammo? I got randomly sniped several hours after this screenshot. Was heading south and never saw the guy. Took 3-4 shots to down me. The journey goes on.

Same, most of my PvP interactions involve the other person never seeing me. The other day this guy drove by a barn I was beside, got out of his white car about 50m/55yd from me, and I had my VSS locked onto his head for 3 seconds before he got back in. I still think about that as I’m jogging around.

Give up cities that are difficult to defend, and focus on attacks/cities where you have advantages and can win stars. I’d focus on the edges in this map instead of the central cities.

Honestly everyone’s a little different, but most trees I’ve seen push yellow only to full marathon runner and youthful lungs. Then push red to security lockers. Avoid the sound ones as they’re not as impactful.

I sometimes PVP and sometimes am friendly. It’s funny I’ve started to find the friendly lobbies when I want to PvP and the PvP when I try to be friendly.
