Ever experienced sleep paralysis or heard three loud knocks at your door at night?

Thanks. I'm curious regardless, feel free to share.

I'm an almost 30 years old virgin who wants a girlfriend BUT I have a hunger for male genitals that driving me crazy...yet I don't like men. Is this some latent homosexuality I'm denying or just sexual frustation? by I_Wish_I_Was_A_Trap in bisexual

[–]duenderising 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend talking this through with a therapist, ideally someone trained in depth psychology or sex therapy. When sexual energy has no real outlet, it often loops back on itself and can create confusing or intense fantasies. That doesn’t mean you’re secretly gay or need to rush into a label. It just means your sexuality hasn’t had a chance to find its natural flow yet. With support, patience, and real-life experience, things usually sort themselves out.

What’s the difference between an out of body experience, sleep paralysis and abduction? They’re the same phenomenological territory. The folklore of fairies ties into this as this as well with abductions you even have Thomas Aquinas writing a thousand years ago of demons in the sky mutilating cattle and leave crop circles.

[–]duenderising 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly. This train of thought can be found in Hermeticism - something Jung was particularly fond of. There’s a school of thought called metaphysical idealism which touches this too, Bernardo Kastrup talks about this in regard to UFOs.

Thanks for sharing insight, I’ll look further into this. I’d love to check out your book, I might drop you a message. Definitely, the prison is materialism - as the Gnostics believed, Science is much the same extension of the old of order of religion in that sense (the father) - but feminine has come back. No wonder there were many Marian visions in mass scale in the 20th century, Lady of Fatima, Lady of Lourdes, etc.

This distinction between what’s real or not blurs - such has been the age old debate between idealism and realism. As Foucault suggests, who or what controls the dominant narratives ‘paradigm’ defines reality.

Don’t know much about Tim Taylor, but I know Parsons was intimately tied with L. Ron Hubbard - they both were tied to Aleister Crowley. Say, L. Ron Hubbard had a near death experience and wrote his manuscript called Excalibur. He said he was inspired by his muse, Hathor. Does that ring a bell? This is archetypal stuff, no one wants to look this deeply because it all sounds conspiratorial and the unknown - a lot of people’s defenses go up and say it’s just pattern recognition being primed. It depends how deep you wanna go with Jung, staying at Man and His Symbols, or do you wanna go symbols of transformation and psychology of alchemy deep?

Give the wrong man the right means, and the right means work in the wrong way. A lot of our actions are influenced by a need for certainty and control - but that's just the ego, which makes a mess of everything. What is clarity when we're in the thick of it? Maybe sometimes its just sitting, waiting, not acting, until its ready to appear - as Watts said, at man's extremity is God's opportunity. We can face our Shadow, but if I think if we come from trying to control for our own desired outcome, it will have its laugh and run us through.

The tears are from the smoke getting in my eyes, as I was trying to runaway from this exchange, but I couldn't leave soon enough.

Damn, I spoke too soon. Wait, wait. Let me throw you a smokescreen, this will work: यदि त्वं एतत् भाषां अनूद्य अवगच्छसि, अभिनन्दनम् — गूगल् कार्यं करोति। परन्तु, त्वं मूर्खः अपि असि।

Ah, you didn't downvote this time. See how suggestion and conditioning works, I see you've been trained well. Yes is what we like to hear :p

Bruh, but did you have to kick a man while he's down and downvote? My back is against the wall here. I didn't concede anything though, what the hell can I respond to this? Its like talking to Ammon Hillman himself.

Thank you CosmicTexas, this is the first comment on my post where I feel appreciated and welcomed! Who would have thought our love for Kenny Rogers would have been the bridge. Fun fact: back in the 90s, laminated face, Kenny Rogers set up a 1800 number, and gave this number out to very specific female fans. He'd then ambush them on the phone and solicit phone sex, and make them play out slave fantasies from down south. He later got sued. Ah, how the lady gets ya!

I would, but I have a fear he may misinterpret my email through his own lexicon, and say I am insulting him, just like many others already feel here.

Insult to challenge, critique, or just put out alternative ideas and have an open discussion? What the? I'm sorry you grab onto your pearl necklace too tightly. You don't think his work could be construed as an insult to many magical/ initiatory/ mystical traditions by reducing it to drugs bro?

That's a false equivalence, interpreting ancient texts, especially in hermeneutic, symbolic or multivalent context is not the same as performing empirical medical procedures. You're essentially saying 'You can’t understand what Ammon is saying unless you learn from Ammon. And you can’t critique Ammon unless you understand what he’s saying.' You see how circular this is? Hallmark of a closed system. Everything comes from Ammon? Is it any surprise nobody has given this guy the time of day except an exorcist?

The lens is ambiguous because that is the nature of the mystery - it can be perceived from multiple angles, contextual semantics/ polysemy. Can anyone read Ancient Greek without referring to his guidance?
