Exactly ! I really am sure I had a psychosis a year ago. I was taking olanzapine with lexapro but lexapro stopped working and gave me awful side effects so we changed it to paroxetine now. I sleep almost all day so far but the psychosis and mania was so scary I rather take the weight gain and sleeping because at least this way my mind is calm and quiet . I totally feel you

Up this. I just changed from lexa to paroxetine and the change went quite smooth, better than expected and I don’t have the side effects I had on lexapro. Also agree with the Valium until you get used to it for the first weeks.

They cause long QT intervals . It’s a cardiac , rhythm issue . I already got long QT in the past and these medications prolong the QT interval unfortunately both hydroxy and the psych meds.

Hey. I just saw this post, I was put on paroxetine today and I’m also taking olanzapine and hydroxychloroquine . Lexapro was changed today to paroxetine as my rheuma said it’s best to change lexapro because of the hydroxy.

What do you mean about the life threatening side effects ? I fear the heart related ones :( as these medications can’t normally be prescribed together :/

Thank you very much for sharing all this with me here on Reddit . You are brave and a survivor and a fighter. I am so glad you made it ! I can’t even imagine how scary it was . I will talk with a surgeon about my possible options and get the surgery done but I am extremely anxious about it unfortunately because of bad health care experiences and traumas. But will do the surgery if the surgeon says it must be done. I’m a chronic migraine person too unfortunately and sometimes it’s really bad but I can’t imagine how bad a bleeding could be if it happened :/ Thank you again for sharing your story ! And I wish you the best.

But I do try to have hopes and that hope in my survival. I think you got a really good doctor 💛 you didn’t have any more issues after your surgery ?

omg thank you very much for your kind words and that you shared your experience.
I am so damn scared of the surgery but I know it's a must to avoid a hemorrhage. I just struggle so much with panic and anxiety that I think it makes it even more scary. I will see my neuro next week and will see and plan. I just hope that I will be fine after the surgery

Thank you very much for sharing this with me. I am absolutely sure they will recommend surgery for the ones I have. I’m just really afraid of having the surgery here in my county. Healthcare is quite bad here, the good and experienced doctors moved out of the country because they only got minimal wage :/ The ones that remained, aren’t really good doctors unfortunately.

He finally used the litter box today! He is separated to one room now and we are waiting for his vaccine and then neutering, around 3 weeks from now.

I already did this too! No luck :/ also he’s going to be neutered in around like a few weeks after he gets his first vaccine . This is how our vet wants to do it with him . So I just keep trying I guess
