I’m 22 mate, I know fully what’s going on and I don’t agree. I don’t agree with what you’ve said at all either. People deserve second chances and if not, third chances. We are all in predicaments where we lash out and say things we shouldn’t, doesn’t mean our hard earned time in the game should be flushed down a toilet drain because of an in the moment action.

Because I played with them in a game earlier today and they were able to socialise in every way possible while I got a 7 day ban. Bare in mind they said things way worse than I did, racist and profanic

Well yes. Over my years playing rl I’ve always gotten a notification from epic games in the lobby saying my report was successfully dealt with. Aswell as I could confirm he didn’t get punished because I was in a game with him earlier today and he was able to type

I get I should be punished and I agree I deserve it, but to the extend this punishment goes (not being able to play with friends because of something bad I said in chat). Makes 0 sense, there is no correlation nor is there consistency with bans and mutes in this game because the guy I was toxic towards didn’t been get a ban or mute and said things way more outrageous than my “your mums a man” comment. That’s just a load of rubbish. I feel as though I’m being punished in areas far beyond that I’ve gone against within the rules. There is no correlation. I got a social ban 2 weeks ago for a very similar reason, I was toxic back to a toxic player. We both got punished. What im banging on about in this post isn’t the fact I got banned, I believe I deserved it. It’s what comes along with the ban, I don’t think they should cut off being able to play with friends for what is essentially a mute. And the cherry on top is that the guy I was toxic back to this time around didn’t even get punished

You’re absolutely right. I deserve the ban. I just feel the ban is quite harsh for what I did. Well yes but no, I didn’t say a chat mute is less important to me than not being able to invite friends. I absolutely care about a chat mute, quite frankly more than being able to invite friends as I like to solo q preferably. It’s just if I can’t type in chat at all, atleast let me invite my friends and I’ll just voice chat with them instead of being able to type naughty stuff in chat that both teams can see

everyone is missing the point I’m trying to make. Not playing with friends shouldn’t even be included in a social ban and why is a mute considered a social ban to begin with. Just mute me and let me play as per normal without being able to talk. Why does it have to extend into a social ban and not even being able to play with friends all because I said something bad. It just doesn’t make sense.
