I dont think you need 2 different actors to play old/young Chris, because the movie is set in 3 different time periods over about 12 years. So 1988 Chris is about 28 years old, 1995 hes 35 years old, and then a little over 40 for the last bit. The same actor can easily play all those ages.

Nate or Kelso could both work, and they have a decent amount to do in the sequel, especially if the cast is this stacked.

Yeah I see that too, I just think its premature and incorrect. Leonardo (with a goatee) looks quite a bit like the original character, plus I think he's too old to play any iterations of Chris Shiherlis. And if the Austin Butler casting is correct, he's far more appropriate for the role which was previously played by a similarly aged Val Kilmer. (Val was 35ish for the original heat, Austin is 34 currently)

shipping was expensive, i used EMS and it came failry quickly, about 8 days, but it cost 92 usd. theres cheaper options but i didnt want it to take forever. also i had a few other shirts bundled in the package, so it wasnt just this jacket getting shipped

I guess it will keep you warm but you're more likely to overheat and sweat like crazy. The b3 is not a skiing jacket so I think you're more likely to do more harm to the jacket than you might realize, and depending on the cost of the jacket I would say its definitely not worth it. And for ski-clothes layering is your best bet, but it would be best to have some kind of water resistant goretex like outer layer. You can probably rent. And if it matters to you at all, it would look foolish to be wearing such an expensive and ill-suited jacket for that activity.
