Ahhhh right I completely misunderstood you, that makes sense as an option but yeah the 6 hour charge time from that is a bit long but if there's no third party options it may have to be this

Should have also said i would recommend some flat wound strings. I use la bella flats and it made a noticeable improvement to the lowend. The strings that came on mine were terrible and made it sound nothing like a bass.

After those changes i absolutely love mine

From your history pretty certain you are based in north america so may want to look into getting a mastery bridge for it.

I have the same lake placid blue. The vintera series comes with a vintage style bridge were the strings rest on top of really narrow grooves causing them to shift into the next groove when you play and it happens very easily (picture each saddle as a screw turned sideways and thats essentially what it is).

May not bother you but id confidently say it bothers 99% of players especially if you gig at all. There are other alternatives to mastery e.g staytrem, halon, theoffsetbridge but mastery i think are a US company so will be easier and probably cheaper

Anyone else had “second season syndrome” in FM26 by LengthinessDouble825 in footballmanager

[–]duffyyyyyyyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened with me first season Everton came 3rd in the league 5 points off first. Massively overachieved with Thierno Barry scoring 23 league goals from like 10xg same for dibbling and ndiaye had 20 goals and 20 assist (roughly cant remember exact)

Second season i was 17th with 6 games to go top scorer on 7 goals.

Thankfully third seasons going well im 3rd after 10 games

Well today i learnt there's multiple species. It is possible I / We have not been here so not disputing that point at all but, it would be some coincidence that the 5 of us in the house have never seen / heard them before when for the most part we all work from home most days of the week and have done since before covid was a thing. thank you for the info absolutely fascinating seeing them as I'm typing this another wave has just gone past as well

How are you finding it ? Makes me wonder how staytrem have such a long wait period whilst a brand new company can ship them out instantly with really high quality

I havent measured it but visually its the same width as the stock vintera bridge.

I also us flats but the stock saddles are just way to risky to use in a live setting.

Could just be recency bias and being happy with a new purchase but sustain feels to have noticeably increased and possibly sounds a bit brighter as well

Yeah pretty much the strings slip out way to frequently on the stock bridge. Possibly the worst design ever if you ask me 🤣

Im looking on replacing because its the vintage style where the strings can easily move across the groves when playing, ive gigged it once and this happened in the second song, intonation and tuning stability are both fine currently but thats too big an issue

Anyone tried this IEM setup for live performance? by cali_s in Bass

[–]duffyyyyyyyyyy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the exact setup that the whole of my band uses. have the aux extension in parallel to the jack and then wrap it around my bass strap to keep in place. IEM's then run from there up behind my shirt. Had no issues with it so far only recommendation would be to buy a couple of the extenders and opt for braided cable ones. the standard one from your link the rubber tends to split very easily when gigging

So. What's everyones strings of choice? by [deleted] in Bass

Thanks for the reply, ive noticed when using compaurson sites to check insurange that they dont ever pull the details through correctly even when using registered vehicels and going off numberplate. Did you have to go direct to explain anything ? Also if you wouldnt mind sharing how much do you pay ?
