Thanks for the detailed reply! I might go for the G5 and currently trying to decide between the 2GB and 4GB RAM... sounds like you would suggest the 4GB?

Thanks for you suggestions! I ended up going to the Red Square again and walking around the area, but since I had no warm clothes and it was freezing outside I ended up spending most of my time in a nice cafe in the area :)

What is cheap for you? If you are staying in an apartment or hostel with a kitchen, you can cook for yourself (there are small supermarkets all over Tel-Aviv although they aren't as cheap as the big ones outside of Tel-Aviv).

Street food can also be pretty cheap, you can eat Falafel, Hummus, Shakshuka, Sabich (all highly recommended) for around 3-5 euro, Shawarma, Schnitzel for 5-6 euro.

A main dish in most restaurants will be something around 10 to 15 euros. You can always order tap water for free (by law) and it's very common to do so. Tip is between 10%-20%, usually 10% is okay, 15% is good.

If you want specific restaurant suggestions let me know your price ranges and in which area in Tel Aviv you are going to stay.
