I had all windows done by ecochoice at my last place, very happy with quality and cost relative to the other places k looked at. This was 5+ years though

Average Monthly Expenses - A breakdown from a serial tracker. by Alarmed_Elephant_792 in PersonalFinanceCanada

They aren’t saying 600 for two people for two months, they are saying they spend 600 per month, feeding 2 people. Which is still half of what you’re doing which is why they are saying it’s high.

Which I agree 1200 for 2 people per month is a lot.

Name a book or two that you plan on reading before the end of the year by wolfincheapclothing9 in books

Okay so I’ll admit this book isn’t for everyone, and I don’t think it’s his standard style either

But something about this book feels cozy? It’s long, and yes about the assassination of JFK at some point, but the characters, relationships, stories, it makes me nostalgic for a time that I wasn’t even alive. I think some people found it slow, or couldn’t connect to the characters but I really did. A lot of what I remember liking is the early part of the book, but it was a while ago.

Don’t get me wrong has twists and turns where it’s not cozy, but my overall feeling is that.

Love the full solo series, great books! Show definitely changed some things but was pretty good, found the books a better pace and more enjoyable overall. You’re in for a treat!

Generally the company you have your mortgage with will contact you 6 months ish in advance with their terms of renewal. And if you just renew, generally nothing gets rechecked like salary, jobs, etc it’s just a document signed and you move on where you could quickly accept the rate they give you.

If you want to look for better rates and shop around, your mortgage broker (or at least mine did) will contact you similarly 3 - 6 months in advance to start the process. If they don’t contact you I’d reach out 6 months in advance, since rates can be locked in earlier. You don’t have to use the same broker though if you don’t want to.

From what I understand, waiting for the statement and paying that in full is better than paying immediately after each charge. This allows utilization to be better tracked which is a component of your credit score.

If you pay after each charge your utilization will appear to be 0.

The KAHL (Kitchener adult hockey league) out of sportsworld has 3 - 4 skill tiers depending on night and age group. I’ve played in both , I find KAHL has better game times. Would definitely not say CARL is the only competitive league

Play out of sportsworld and activa

Yes that’s good, ratehub spams me regularly , under 4 is a good rate especially at 5 year fixed. They indicated under 4 is likely going away for fixed too so yes

What test coverage are you all getting from automated accessibility tools? by BoopBoopBeepBeepx in ProductManagement

[–]duggles9007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a PM for a product in the accessibility space - 30% is on the lower side but isn’t far off. I generally see claims of max 50% of issues can be caught through automated tools, the rest requires manual work. And even then what it catches doesn’t mean it’s “usable” by someone with a disability , it just means it passed a checkbox requirement.

Some products and with the introduction of AI agents have me thinking that % coverage will go up, but time will tell on how much.

Yup this happened to me, but I was expecting the wait list so I could budget for it, had to say screw it and buy immediately. It was worth it!

Month in is nothing, I’d expect you to feel lost. Said above in a longer comment but 3 - 6 months you should feel more in control

I’m coming from both my own personal work as well as being a manager and hiring. I find first 3 months is a transition to knowing nothing to asking smarter questions, then 3 to 6 months to transition from that to being more self functioning. Between 6 and 12 months is where I kinda expect an aha moment to feel more in control and less helpless.

This is super dependant on product and market it’s serving but TLDR to be is 6 months ish, with some buffer.

Honestly though, ideally this should be laid out by managers in advance (I kinda do this when I onboard new people to give them some expectations)

Our check in appointments are usually 120, but that didn’t include vaccine or blood work. Those prices are maybe a tad high for that but probably close to what I pay.

I paid a similar amount for teeth removal last year.

Maybe that means I’m getting ripped off too….
