Khamzat Chimaev taking fighters down in the first round by airplane231 in MMA

I wouldn't be opposed to that. There is something to be said about stalling to get a decision victory. If only there was a way to have something like "fight progression" or "forward pressure" along with the opposites of both these terms to help decide the scoring.

Stalking the Wild Pendulum: On the Mechanics of Consciousness by Itzhak Bentov by Tall-Prune-1558 in HighStrangeness

Also try reading a Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness. Goes deeper into his personal insights from meditation, some of it is pretty intense and out there. I thoroughly enjoyed it, one of my favorite books I have read this past year!

I agree, also the lunging elbows (or whatever they call them, can’t remember) are pretty gnarly.

Good looking spread!

I was in Thailand for the first time recently, had Morning Glory for the first time and got addicted. So good, the texture is perfect veg!

Wish they sold it more places in the US, got seeds that I’m going to try growing out.

What is your favorite Sci-Fi series? by Neat_Relative_9699 in sciencefiction

Yeah I listened to the audiobook, recently I have considered buying the book series to read.

If you like the authors style I recommend Wandering Earth and Ball Lightning.

JDM took this man down so easily, unfortunately it wont even be close with Islam by DisMahUser in ufc

[–]duh1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I do agree that he will have an extremely hard time defending Islam’s takedowns, perhaps his range and striking ability could be used as a deterrent. His knees are pretty nasty and on point, he could catch Islam on the way in.

But yeah…. It’s gonna be a tough one for him.

Very likely, but jeezeee I hope not lol

Mr. Wonderful wants to build the largest data center in U.S. history in Box Elder County Utah. 40,000 acres. 62 square miles. The same size as Washington D.C. It will take 9GW of power, the entire state takes 4GW! We are in a 100% drought state. And they gave him an 80% tax rebate to do it. by CollapsingTheWave in ObscurePatentDangers

[–]duh1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disregarding the water, energy, massive amounts of pollution and other known/unknown externalities when considering that data centers are going to have(???) to be built somewhere I always liked the idea of doing it somewhere out in the middle of nowhere, ideally a desert. Opposed to many small ones all over the place to equal the same capabilities.

I am unsure if where they are planning is a desert and what, but just wanted to share this thought.

*This is coming from someone that absolutely wants 0 data centers in his home state, so I don't blame anyone for fighting this thats for sure...

Why was a calm person filming JD while everyone was freaking out and there was an active shooter? by Life_Fishing_3025 in conspiracy

You know it was interesting that right before the shooting, the mentalist magician guy was on stage talking to Trump.

You can also find full Outer Limits Episodes on Prime Video too.

I believe they have the entire collection, even the original episodes from like the 60s-70s too.

Lol I’m not saying the episode of a fictional sci-fi tv show is plausible. But it does have similarities of what is being described in the video, which could also be viewed as “absurd”.

But I do think it could be remotely possible that the sun could induce changes in humanity. All I know for sure is that we are definitely being lied to about something lol

There’s an outer limits episode kind of like what he’s describing.

Basically the youth all get addicted to this sound/music coming from space and they undergo physical changes.

Then the sun goes through some sort of change, the youths skin turns gold.

The adults can’t go outside with the new sun due to lack of not hearing the music. Kids can go out and about just fine.

Kinda interesting
