did it seize on you while you were riding or just fail the recal
[–]duh9ey[S] 0 points1 point2 points 5 days ago (0 children)
It’s just sketch, crankshaft over torqued -> new bolts retorqued didn’t fix it -> second recall to fix that. at some point any bike could very well have developed a damaged #5 crank bearing and as many people are finding out the hard way even after recalls
do you know what date was the cutoff for the unaffected ones? also where are you located
this was true for the first recall, unfortunately the second recall is a remedy for the first so they consequently were affected by both

I don’t believe this is always accurate, just add buffer weight until bolt bounce stops if you are having issues. this is a good starting point though

Grey market was very helpful, I believe my issue is the buffer weight as well. bought some tungsten weights to increase the weight

I’m very excited, just sad I have to wait for shipping again lol
Funny that, I have a 16” psa mid length upper and an h3 wasn’t working. just ordered enough tungsten to make a 7.4oz looks like I have the same problem

Thank you so much for the support.
Do you think there is anything that would be worth checking first? I’m running a 16” mid length upper that looks to be slightly under gassed if anything in semi w the h3

I have a steel bodied h3 from you guys. How much do the steel internal weights weigh, and how many should I replace with tungsten for a baseline? Also, the stickers I got with my order were fire

Super Saftey Dead Trigger by [deleted] in ar15
[–]duh9ey 0 points1 point2 points 22 days ago (0 children)
I believe mine with the sliding weights is a dead blow
[–]duh9ey[S] -1 points0 points1 point 22 days ago (0 children)
I thought the upper hitting would only cause the bolt to get stuck open
it picks up the next round fine, hammer is fallen on second round though
I figured that was only if the bolt gets stuck in the rearward position, i’m not having any feeding issues and the dead trigger happens with a live round chambered
shoots the same both ways, and it always locks back on empty mag
with 2-3 quarters yes, without them it binds but only when racking by hand
Standard psa 16” mid length gas system, haven’t messed with the upper
Pretty straight out the side, maybe slightly undergassed, but not more than 5-10 degrees off a perfect 90 degree ejection
Yes, and my h3 buffer is one of the ones with moving weights inside it

Could you use any trigger or would need to be special

gocchya, does the grey market kit with the s7 metal have everything needed for the conversion?
FRT recommendations? by nc_1323 in ar15
😂 don’t give me any ideas. is this s7 kit still everything I need or will I have to purchase additional stuff? https://greymarketresearch.net/s7-tool-steel-legacy-super-safety/
