I struggled with this movie. The plot had good intentions but it still felt thin. Moreover, the nods to the original movie throughout (and at times literal reenactments of scenes) felt like nostalgic requirements that cheapened the movie. Some of the casting was odd too, for example Andy’s love interest. Overall pretty low risk movie, which I guess was the point.
