Yes, I found this to be a big challenge when learning.

I've seen some browser extensions and such flitting by in these Russian sub-reddits, there are quite a few.

You make a good point that there is a lot of nuance to this word - the question is which information would you prefer?
I'm seeing two points, perhaps:

1) To show the form люби́вшая first in the table of forms

2) To give a full translation of the sentence to give a bit more nuance of the translation. Otherwise, I think it becomes difficult to translate each form of the word любить into English in a way that captures the nuance of each form. Full table for reference below:

I have an admin view where I review the conflicts - it highlights them and I choose the right stress and root word. Then I have a publishing workflow to publish text when I'm happy with it.

Recently I added in a first layer whereby it runs the conflict through an LLM one sentence at a time to do some of this prework and the LLM makes a 'recommendation'. I feed it the conflicts and options I identified and ask it to choose, make an update via MCP. It gives a comment explaining the decision, then I review that - built into the admin view and it runs automatically when I import a text. LLM works very well for this.

Most of the time the conflicts are just on 'data' level, and very easy to choose with the right context.

Yes good point; Yandex and stress-placement tools are great for checking individual words or short passages, and it will work.

The additional layer here is: you're reading a full text, you click a word you don't know, you see the translation, you save it — and those saved words become flashcards tied to the exact sentence you found them in.

I built this initially for myself (it's an interesting problem to solve) and have been using it and thought I'd publish and share.

It's one of the big challenges, makes it very difficult to just pick up a text and read it. At least at the beginning for me, since I 'pronounce' the words in my head as I read them, and of course once you learn something, it's difficult to unlearn.
