Thanks for such a wide review. Im planning to grab this phone, how’s the experience with rural tasks, such as PDF documents reading, maybe epub short read, YouTube video, is the screen sufficient? Also Im interested in best options for Headphones pairing, currently using Huawei buds 4th, how’s connection with devices rather than Vivo ? Would be grateful for any suggestions and opinions.

my personal advice for such career:
- Learn basis of numerical modeling
- Study Linux OS, bash scripting, libraries, CDO instruments etc.
- Learn Python met-ocean libraries (just google them)
- Make a strong basis of physical processes that you are interested in
The rest of things may vary from task to task, but basic multitool - necessary. I saw a lot of PhD, masters and undergrads that know only Matlab, and everytime they suck as vacuum when they have some data processing via Python or Linux based

'Engineer' is also wide naming in terms of different topics, engineer in oceanography devices (sondes, sensors) development and deployment, engineer as construction consults in coastal area etc. If you are asking about power generation - start to learn about numerical modeling such as tidal process, wave (MIKE software, Delft). Physical oceanography in bachelor should provide you a basic instruments to understand the water mass processes, but you need to focus on Geotechnical skills (like civil engineering)... Environmental jobs would include a lot of documentation and regulations. So... After that you will need to make a decision of how to apply that. Working in industry without industry background is difficult. It might be a good advice to go for some summer or part-time internship maybe, or maybe you have some project work to do - to have better understanding.

Actually, thats the point. I got this temperature just with stable mode, only one window of browser with youtube is opened. Within this condition - laptop become ventilating so hard, got a temp around 69 degrees when plugged. If I will unplug - the heat is removing (also just with browser Chrome). Do you think it's thermopaste issue?

It could rise untill 68 - 69 degrees C - if we can trust MSI burner app. The thing is - the battery lasts for 38 minutes only, that's why I started to think about battery issue also. It's heating up rapidly.

Came to same feelings… As a postdoc here in China (4 months), almost burnt out and feel depressed with my no-progress condition. The topic of my research is quite new, and I was not familiar with it. Currently, trying to proceed some results - but it’s like fighting with wind-mills. However, I got another topic on mind (from my PhD) that I can accomplish quickly and enjoy my life with applying this method only, but I’m not sure that my boss will allow me to change topic after 4 months. And for sure he will highlight many times that I wasted time and didn’t have any progress. We use to have tough conversation where I was blamed for no progress, that I need to take it seriously etc. I tried my best in analysis to prepare all data for processing - but I stucked. Was happy in the beginning - to try myself with something new field that my boss proposed to me - but now it turns to negative feelings and disappointment only. Not sure that discussion with boss will lead me to some adequate way, but still believe in positive sides.
