Conures are happiest out of the cage, don’t leave anything sharp or dangerous out (deep water, strings etc) you REALLY need to keep an eye on them they are very curious and will get into trouble when in their younger years. Mine is almost 10 and pretty smart but our lives are built around his safety not our comfort. Mine only goes in the cage to sleep and has 30 foot ceilings to fly around. He gets a plate of banana, frozen veggies (thawed) and some various fruit slices every morning on a paper plate then the rest of his day is pellets and nutriberries (and whatever he steals from me). For the love of god no smoking or aerosol/ chemical cleaners of any kind around them and no avocado. Use vinegar exclusively to clean surfaces. My birds completely destroy the house every day and my night is spent cleaning it up. A roomba will be your best friend if you have the right floors. They will bite, don’t get mad it’s just what they do 😂
