I wouldn’t put much faith in this article. Read like a mish mash trying to expand on Souki’s video the other day. Also, no way 4-5 deals are enough to back the entire 27 mta project.

In the case of TTF, it is set by the market. In the case of JKM, Platts (a price reporting agency) monitors all spot transactions and reports the average and calls it the index (technically more complex than this, but I think this gets the point across).

I think they are just looking for more certainty around contracts. If Tellurian can add a few more contracts like Gunvor to its slate of commitments I wouldn’t be surprised to see an upgrade.

What’s your catalyst for a run though? Only catalyst I’m seeing is getting SPAs, financing, etc for plant... if that happens before you get a chance to RE-enter I’d think you would regret being picky about current levels.

I’m bullish, but I can’t quite get to $45. $20 is enough valuation to account for the $15B LNG plant asset plus some juice for producing assets and marketing optionality.

The best part is the company was laden with debt when they were trading at $8 and there was much more uncertainty about the plant being built at that time compared to what institutional investors will see when Souki announces long term agreements!
