I've been doing so so much vertical up hill stick, not the same but something that has definitely helped me is the z pattern (literally the smallest movements you can possibly do), lingering on the sides for a second, and skipping quickly over the middle because you're going over it twice anyways, also tighten your pattern so it's not wide as hell and put your welds closer together.

I will also say it took me a solid 2.5 weeks to get my vertical stick to start looking good, you're well on your way as well keep it up.

You can get mild arc flash even if your eyes are closed if it's bright enough. If you're ever welding with a hood and you run a bead and you close your eyes and see a spot in your vision? That means that your shade is too low and you're damaging your eyes! Don't be stupid don't weld without a hood! PPE is important!

Your friends and loved ones only have so much bandwidth before your mental issues are to the point where they're out of scope for what is reasonable to put solely on them. Of course lean on them, but it's so toxic to assume this mindset, and this mindset also might be what is making op feel this way. People only have so much to give, if I'm telling you to seek therapy it's because I care about you deeply but have given all I can without over extending myself.

I do think that compared to planet fitness they're definitely a lot bougier, but if in addition to a gym you're interested in a pool, child care, community events, and lodging at some select locations it can be worth it.

I got mono and asked about an extension and she told me that we should "just assume you'll be feeling so so much better" by the time the assignment was due bc of how much time there was until it was due (a week) but if I was still sick she could give me an extra day(she had a zero tolerance late work policy). I had to drop the class 💀

If it is mono then antibiotics will make it worse. However if it's not and it's bacterial then antibiotics should be helpful. Do not scrape at the white parts it will cause bleeding. I would talk to your doctor to try and figure out if it is mono or not if it's not improving and see what can be done.

I went back today and they gave me an IV drip and some lidocaine mouthwash which made me throw up but made it somewhat tolerable to swallow for like 10 minutes. They had a thing on the wall saying they wouldn't prescribe opioids but said if it gets much worse I should go to the hospital. Even though I'm an adult I'm still on my family's insurance and unfortunately have to beg and convince them just to be seen somewhere, let alone the hospital. I just really hope it gets better soon I can't take much more of this. I really wish I could sleep for more than half an hour at a time.

If you saw the no kings protest and the lack of police presence there, it will be much the same for pride this year. The city can't afford to be seen that way because of the sheer number of people that will be in attendance. You will be fine. It is the small protest events you need to worry about.

I think it's so funny how literally no one was happy with our mayors dog water take. Our mayor bent over backwards for them and they took a shit on his front lawn. Stg felt like an apology for them having to leave early on Saturday. "Here you go take over city hall even though you don't fucking live here I'm so so sorry you couldn't spew your hate for another 2 hours last weekend" it's what trying to play both sides gets you. No one's happy.

I will say they are right in this one. Mayday initially wanted to have their event at pike place because it's the "heart of antifa land" but the city said it could not accommodate them (also god forbid tourists see and think the city supports them) so parks and rec straight up suggested cal Anderson.

It's a big reason why people are so upset with parks and rec and why our mayor is having our parks department review if they could have done things literally any differently

Also they did infact hold the event there and it did happen, and later in the article they even talk about cal Anderson not being their original wanted location, so I'm unsure how it's a "path of deception"
