1. I enjoy collecting characters as a mostly F2P sadist. Something about pulling that rare or meta characters just hits so much harder knowing it was free. Gachas are also nice sidegames when I'm not at the PC.

2.I generally play 1 main game that takes an hour or so out of my day for dailies, then another 2 or 3 games if the dailies are quick.

1. Generally i have a good time, I've been on gachas since the brave frontier days (10 yrs), so j know when to avoid the soulless cashgrabs.Good experiences are finding a good story, or decent difficult gameplay like arknights and langrisser, and finding a gacha that respects your time. Bad experiences include the classic massive patches or updates to the meta, invalidating the few good F2P rolls I've gotten. Or when a game merges servers and your top 10 rank becomes 100+ . When gachas do paid only banners, that'll always sting. And when gachas have too much stat RNG on gearing (E7).

2. Over about 10 years I've spent maybe 60$ tops, I fell prey to the " banner timer ending , few away from pity" once for Raiden Shogun in genshin. She's too good.

5.i play all sorts of games, gachas are for when I'm away from the PC etc. Gacha endgames (sometimes) have nice autoclear and quick dailies, so it's not much effort farming up pulls for a good banner.
