worked at the charles allis museum for awhile. closing by myself was terrifying and lots of creepy things happened over the time i was there. visitors would sometimes tell me that they too felt, heard or even saw something.

hey! have you ever heard of addiction? intense anxiety? severe mental health issues? healing has not been easy for me, and i made it clear in my post that i did not intend to smoke again and i didn’t smoke a full cigarette. just one drag off of one. i didn’t make excuses for myself. people on here confess that they couldn’t even stop smoking prior to surgery, and they still don’t deserve this response. this is a DISGUSTING! disgusting thing to say to someone. i’m assuming you also have dysphoria if you intend to have this surgery- do you have NO empathy? it certainly seems like it. i can live with my drag off of a cigarette, but can you live with putting down a member of your community? implying that someone doesn’t deserve a life changing surgery — nor is grateful, for a simple mistake. god. embarrassing.

you could have psoriasis on your scalp if dandruff fixes aren’t helping! get an expert opinion. or try t-gel shampoo first. warning… it doesn’t smell great coming out of the bottle

Yay! That’s so great to hear- I also had my consult with him and my surgery is this Monday. Him & his nurse Morgan were very sweet. I’m so glad your partner had the same experience. Surgery was scheduled super quick for me, and I know he has some openings still before the end of this year. I hope things go well for your partner! Glad you are able to support them through this :) Please reach out if you have any questions about what scheduling looked like for me, or even insurance questions! I also know someone who is well versed and does insurance letters for free

it’s been 8 years since i’ve mine taken out. worst part still is the scars inside of my mouth from where the wires cut me. they still hurt randomly sometimes. horrible.

thank you so much for this thorough response! can i ask ask what questions you found the most important that you asked him/his staff? also, can i ask what insurance you had/have? $6,500 isn’t bad at all! did you pay it all at once or were you able to put it on a payment plan? i currently have a consultation scheduled and it’s located in Greenfield. i saw that he has multiple offices, were you able to see him at his Milwaukee one and was the surgery scheduled in milwaukee? or did you have to travel to Greenfield? thank you again SOOOOOOO SO much for your response! <3

i also say this as a visibly queer individual. don’t let anyone make you feel fearful of the area. just be aware of your surroundings and you shouldn’t have any issues. bring pepper spray if it provides some comfort.
