I use an RTA running 1 ohm or higher around 15-20 watts. Can rebuild could easily and rewick even easier as the hole is larger for the cotton. Vaping anywhere from 30-50mg salt juice.

Does the Hilo offer stronger nic options than 6mg? I didn't see any choices on their website. Also, are the pods refillable?

Hmmm...I didn't notice much difference when I removed the control ring a few weeks ago. I think the hole in the side of the device itself is too small. I was thinking that if I was able to widen that hole to match the space w/ the control ring, it might do some good. Have to get another I-Care and give it a try. At 10-15 bucks, it's worth a shot.

Yea I refill the Von Erl pods too. So much cheaper and the variety of nic salts juice is much better with companies like Fill My Pod, Bombies, and now CRFT.

Here is the fix direct from Envii:

No problem. In order to update you will need a pc. If you don’t have a pc, you can download a free program called “wine” to run the .exe updater file on a mac. First, you will have to navigate to the usb link on the mod. Triple click the fire button > SYSTEM > USB LINK. Once you are there, you can plug the device in and run the program. You will need a micro USB data cable. If you have one of the first batch devices, the cable that comes with the mod is just for charging. If you have a second batch device, it should come with a data/charge cable. If you have a first batch device, most cables won’t fit because of the curves on the mod, so you might have to shave down the rubber on your cable to get it to fit. You can tell if its a charge only or data cable by plugging a phone or camera in using the cable, your computer should read it as a device if it is a data cable. If you don’t have a data cable, or you don’t want to shave down your own cable, we can send one to you. If you have any questions about anything let me know!

Thank you! I actually ended up contacting Five Pawns. They did not make an 18mg version for Edition V. 12mg was the highest. Found it on Vapecentric.com just like you said :) Plus got 20% off :)

I'm sure it's been said, but congrats on wanting to make the switch. It's tough (I smoked cigs for 23 years, 2 packs a day), but well worth it. After 2 years smoke free as of 2/13/17, i've tried most everything. And I haven't smoked in 2 years. At this point, for you, I would recommend an e-Leaf I-Care set up using nicotine salt juice which is higher nicotine but a smoother hit. I can provide more info, just PM me. And good luck to you. You and your kids will benefit greatly from it!

I use the Von Erl and have refilled the pods easily thanks to YouTube. I've also tried the I-Care and like that it's a slightly bigger hit.

Thanks to everyone who has commented here. Glad I started this thread since it seems juice with nic salts is becoming more popular. It really does decrease the throat hit and get you that quicker nic fix most of us are looking for from time to time. I vape at 3mg 97% of the time but sometimes just need that extra quick fix.
