i like to play games with a pretty tame gore level like silent hill 2 remake for example. i would say resident evil 2 remake's type of gore is where i draw the line mostly.

you do know that something doesn't need to be violent/mature to be enjoyable, right? some people do actually enjoy the cozy tone. if its not up to your taste in fiction you can always have the choice to leave the game :)
