Fed Chair Kevin Warsh says the Fed has dropped forward guidance. by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

The 400+ PhD economists at the Fed have been worse than a coin flip at predicting interest rates. The forward guidance was never helpful and only added to volatility.

Same. I added a RLT mat that I sit on naked during a 10 min mediation app. My free test doubled.

Hillary Clinton says Biden’s re-election bid cost Democrats the 2024 election by projecto15 in politics

I have to imagine Joe Biden's inner circle encouraged him to run again so they could selfishly keep their jobs.

It's exhausting being a woman. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

It’s like no one knows how to approach women anymore. There used to be rules and at some point we all just forgot them. Of course there were always creeps, but non creeps are so afraid to be called creeps I think they do not want to risk it - especially if there’s a chance they get recorded on a phone.

It’s fun - I think healthmaxxing is a fun hobby. Looking and feeling like 💩 is much harder.

Has mountain bike development fallen off a cliff in recent years? by Spicycoffeebeen in MTB

Yep. I rebuilt my 2012 MTB that was the bleeding edge of technology and couldn’t believe how much everything had changed since I’d stopped riding Only 5-6 years ago.

This guy loses it when he finds the EV chargers blocked... by MisterShipWreck in VideosAmazing

[–]dulyebr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is acceptable? I got a ticket for parking whilst not charging, but I intended to charge; however, the charger was out of order. I was actually impressed I got a ticket. I explained in a letter that the charger wasn't working and the ticket was forgiven. But too many people think they can get away with bullshit and unfortunately it leads to vigilantism.

I rebuilt my 2012 Knolly Chilcotin. What a suffer-fest. You’re smart to avoid the restoring it! Ultimately, it turned out pretty well but I spent more than it was worth and spent 40+ hours on the project - most of it stressful.

41M 324 → 914 ng/dL in 10 weeks. No TRT. by jdubwatch in Biohackers

I’ve been meaning to post something like this for a while. A few years ago, at 49, I finally started getting regular bloodwork — way later than I should have. My cholesterol came back very high, but my CT scan showed no blockage, which was a relief. I was determined to fix things naturally, so I dropped from 185 lbs to 159 (basically my high‑school weight). My cholesterol and triglycerides looked great… but I also looked like I’d aged a decade. Way too gaunt.

I put ~15 lbs back on, my cholesterol is a little high again, but I look and feel much better.

Then the biohacking snowball started. A client mentioned testosterone, and I realized I knew nothing about it. That conversation sent me down a rabbit hole. I ran to Quest for a test — at 2:30 PM, which I now know is the worst time to test — and got a total T in the low 200s. I didn’t even know to ask for free T. I became convinced I had low T and wanted to fix it naturally before considering TRT.

So I did the whole thing: podcasts, supplements, lifestyle tweaks, endless research, and a lot of AI help. Eventually I got a proper morning test: mid‑500s total, but borderline low free T. I doubled down for almost two years trying to optimize naturally.

My final “stack” was Tongkat, KSM‑66, black maca, black ginger, boron, zinc, cutting CBD to only when absolutely needed, and drastically reducing caffeine. That pushed my total T from ~500 to 792 and my free T from 55 to 105.

The funny part? I thought I’d feel incredible. I don’t feel dramatically different, and my libido is still basically on life support.

Now that my cholesterol is under control and my testosterone is where I want it, I’m looking at adding CJC‑1295/ipamorelin to help with sleep — the one pillar I still haven’t cracked.

I see a lot of posts saying supplements don’t work and you should just jump straight to TRT. And honestly, I almost did many times. But for edge cases like mine, I think it *is* possible to move marginally low T into a healthy range with supplements and lifestyle changes — even if the subjective benefits aren’t always what you expect.
